CHAPTER 19: an angel?! Or another devil??
napakatahimik ng araw nay0n... para bang pag may sandaling umimik sa kanila mamamatay o parang bombang sasabog... ito ang unang araw matapos ang kalokan nila kagabi...
parang tanga lang yung dalwa... nagpapakiramdaman kung sinong unang sasabog... este iimik pala...
“Damn it.... ok... hindi ko na kaya... bakit ba di man lang umiimik jan?” she bursted out..
“huh? Di ka naman nagtatanong anong gusto mong imikin ko...?” he answered at patuloy lang sya sa pagkain na parang wala lang.
She bit her lower lips... for some reason she felt guilty kahit na alam naman niang wala xa dapat ikaguilty...
“fine.... if it was about that time,... i mean... yesterday i...” she stopped when she was interrupted..
“uhm.... late nga pala akong uuwi ngayon,... i had a praktis with the team malapit na kasi yung intrams eh.... you should not probably wait me till dinner doon nalang ako kakain sa labas... take care then,” then he stand up... and start walking ot the door..
Gusto niang tumayo at habulin si troy pero di nia yun magawa... naiwan syang nakaupo dun... “ah.... ganun ba? Sige... u too.. take care” she replied. The next thing she knows was the door was closed.
Her face looks sad... “troy....” she finished eating..
While on his way... “tsk... troy, tanga ka ba? Anu bang iniisip mo... bakit di mo sya kausapin ng matino... hindi naman big deal yung kagabi eh.... di b? And besides you know it from the starts that that was what she really feels about u....” he was insanely talking to himself
“in the first place should know... i'm his bestfriend after all.”
Kahit magkatabi silang dalwa sa seat hindi parin sila nagiimikan. Natapos na ang class. Dumiretso na sya sa gym si Yvonne naman, pauwi na ulit.
“uhm... Yvonne. Una nako sa gym... yngat nalang sa pag-uwi.” He told her at di nia hinintay magsalita ito.
“o—ok... yngat ka din” then she headed home...
Palabas na sya ng gate nang bigla syang hinarang ng isang itim na kotse... nagulat sya at kinabahandahil muntik na syang mabangga, dahil narin siguro sa wala sya sa wisyo..
“yo,” he called.
“i-ikaw?. What now?” she asked..
Lumapit ito sa kanya at hinawakan sya sa mukha....” lift ur head dear...” nagulat sya ng Makita ang reaksyon nito... halatang malungkot si Yvonne.
“i don’t like that face... may problema ka ba?” he seriously stares at her.
“so what kung meron... it doesn’t concerns u anyway.. take ur hands off me.” Sabay iwas nito sa kanya.
“i thought we are friends... at least... now, that we will be buddies... and i don’t want to see u that way... come here.” Then nagulat si Yvonne when he grabbed hold of her hand and hinila sya paloob ng kotse.
“wait! What are u...” din a nia yun natapos..
“papasok ka bang kusa o masasaktan ka muna at pipilitin kitang pumasok jan?”tanong ni vien sa kanya...
“ano to?!! HOLDAP? KIDNAP? O baka naman............”
“SHUT UP!!! Just get in.... believe me...”he told her... at ewan nia ba but those words convince her to get in.. vien smiled. He gets in car and starts driving.
Parang ghost yung car na magisang ngddrive... wala kasing naimik dun sa dalwa. Then finally they reach the same place.... it was viens’... his so called mansion paradise.
“tumingin xa while still confused to him... “he—here? But why?”
“told u i don’t like that face... and so i decided to do something about it... u liked here too don’t u? Sabi mo nakakarelax.... now soothe urself... huminga ka ng malalim hanggang mapagOd ang baga mo o sumigaw ka hanggang mapaos ang boses mo.... pwede karing mag wala ditto.... ako nalang magbabayad sa damages... then he looked at her... JUST.... do me one favour.”
Nagulat si Yvonne sa mga pinagsasabi ni vien.... hindi naman sila ganun kaclose pero di nia alam kung bkit she easily feels like trusting him, and she was being comforted there and then... “and that is??” she answered.
“wear ur smile and give me that same beautiful look before.... wag yung ganyan ka... ur down... too down that i had to lift u up.... i told u i hate that look... u do that and u’ll pay all the damages and effort i made... so can u?! Ms. Zhisune?”he smile while looking at her.
It was the fisrt time when she appreciate his face.... he was handsome... not that handsome as hi devil but too handsome to be recognized and he looks like troy ehrn he smile... it was so appealing.
“i don’t ask u to do this... but thanks...”
“i’m awAre of it.... and ur welcome” he answered.... “go on, my effort would be useless if u wont do it...”
Lumabas na sila sa kotse... “i’ll be staying in my room... go on and suit urself somewhere. Pagod din kasi ako... i think i will just take a nap”
“ok... “ then she starts walking...
