Catching Jordan - MirandaKenneally

Description:

ONE OF THE BOYS

What girl doesn't want to be surrounded by gorgeous jocks day in and day out? Jordan Woods isn't just surrounded by hot guys, though–she leads them as the captain and quarterback of her high school football team. They all see her as one of the guys and that's just fine. As long as she gets her athletic scholarship to a powerhouse university.

But everything she's ever worked for is threatened when Ty Green moves to her school. Not only is he an amazing QB, but he's also amazingly hot. And for the first time, Jordan's feeling vulnerable. Can she keep her head in the game while her heart's on the line?

"Whoever said football and girls don't mix hasn't read Catching Jordan. I couldn't put it down!" — Simone Elkeles, New York Times bestselling author of the Perfect Chemistry series.

My opinion:

I LOVE THIS BOOK! Seriously, reading the first few paragraphs of the first chapter i just assumed the narrator was a boy and then it said it was a girl and i was shocked! That is just one of the things this book has that made me read on. I pulled an all nighter to read this, then read all through the next day until I finished. If you're American and you understand all the football lingo then even better because I'm not going to lie, as a British girl, i had no idea what was going on in the 'football' (why the hell do Americans call that football what you barely use your feet? Come on now, that's inaccurate) scenes, but i enjoyed them anyway! And although the whole 'only girl on the football team' thing seems quite overdone, if you do it differently, then what's wrong with that? Plus I can tell you that is not in any way cliché. And it's a published book now so it must be good!!! Read on Watties, read orrrn.
