I Hate Him

I saw a beautiful youth approach me, with pale milky skin, big eyes and long lashes. But what stood out was his long pinned up chestnut hair and matching eyes.
"Wow you sure are a beauty! The maids were right!"
"Are you too, a captive of that pervert's desire?" I inquire, feeling a strange pang in my heart.
"Rest assure that you are the only one my brother loves!" He said with a laugh, fanning his face.
"Brother...? Your subject humbly greets you*." I asked in disbelief and then realizes my arrogance .
"I know we don't look alike! He looks so mediocre, and I look like Pan An*!" He declared loudly.
"Han Ling! I said this place was off limits! And how dare you call me plain looking you squid*!" The pervert said snatching the youth's fan and whapping his head with it.
"It's a crime to keep such a beauty hidden away!"
"I thank you for your praises but I am no beauty compared to your highness." I said truthfully with a bow.
"Out!" Hong Lei barked with a red face.
"Lei ge*, jealousy is a ugly thing! I will come see you again!" Han Ling had managed to yell before he was ushered out.
"Ugh, he so annoying." Hong Lei groaned, as I let out a chuckle.
"You laughed!" He said with a wide grin, no evidence of his previous "grievances".
"Is it so strange for me to laugh? At least you have someone." I asked
But the reply was confusing "I hate him." He muttered. I didn't think much of it as, who could hatw their family and then simply left with a wave, and enjoying my walk back with my hair and clothes gently blown by the wind and with stars and moon instead of lamps lighting my every step.
~Hong Lei's POV~
My thoughts were halted by crisp and brief laughter that was like the sound of stepping into a fresh blanket of snow I thoughtlessly blurted out "You laughed!"
"Is it so strange for me to laugh? At least you have someone." He said with a raised eyebrow and the rare laughter coming to an abrupt stop before he gave me a wave of dismissal as he left with his long and beautiful inky black hair tied by a white ribbon that matched with his outfit which glowed like an ethereal being in the darkness as I muttered to myself "I hate him." I truly did hate my little brother.
