A New Start

Ezekiel carried her the bridal style kind of way. In that moment she forget that she resented him. She felt safe with him and she felt weird for feeling that kind of way. When her bodyguards seen them they immediately went to her. They were very worried for they might lose their jobs if something terrible will happen to her.

"We will take her to the clinic." they said to Ezekiel but he refused.

"No, I will take her there since I'm already carrying her now." he said and left them. This was the first time that they have been this close. Usually their skin never makes any contact at all but now she can feel his muscles around his body and his addicting scent. She hated manly scents for they were too strong but she liked this scent for it was not that strong and it is pleasant for her nose. She looked above her. She could clearly see his face. He has long lashes, he has eyebags but those looks good on him she thought and he had a really serious face.

She must admit, she now knew the reason why he became famous and a lot of girls are head over heels for him.

Unknowingly, they arrived at the school clinic. When the nurse saw Soleil, her facial expression became really worried.

"A ball hit her face and I guess it made a really huge impact on her and she had twist her ankles as she fell." he informed the nurse

"Just lay her down in one of the beds as I prepare the things." she said and left them

He placed her down. She didn't know how to thank him for saving her and she was extremely shy.

"Uhm, Th-thanks." she awkwardly said to him

His facial expression softened and he smiled, "You're welcome." he said

Silence filled the air again and she couldn't think of any other things to discuss to make that awkwardness go away.

"This is really awkward." she said to herself.

Ezekiel cleard his throat, "So um, are we friends now? Since I saved you?" he asked her

'Really Ezekiel? is that all you can say to her? damn, I'm never this bad at conversations not until now." he said to himself

He looked at Soleil and he realised that indeed she was pretty. "Sure, I'm sorry for always dodging you." she said sincerely

"No it was most of my fault. I was being a jerk to you." he said

She laughed at this statement, "Oh wow! The great Ezekiel Ford just admitted that he's a jerk! Damn, I should have recorded that!"

"You know, you really look beautiful when you smile." This compliment from her made her cheeks burn. She was redder than a tomato

"Did I just made you blush? You don't need to be shy about it." Ezekiel said

"Uh, thanks." she replied

"Now how about let's have a new start. I'm going to re-introduce myself." he smiled, "Hi! I'm Ezekiel Ford." he said

"Oh, Hi! Umm, I'm Soleil Isabel Manuel." she replied to him

"So umm, friends?" he asked her and gave out his hand

"Friends." and they sealed it with a hand shake.

After she was treated by the nurse, Ezekiel carried her for he said that they were friends anyway and friends helps each other.

They went to the cafeteria and ate lunch together. A lot of people took pictures of them secretly. They were shocked as they saw them together for they knew how much Soleil had hated him. For them this was a kind of miracle.

"Look at that! Soleil Manuel with Ezekiel Ford together." One of the people from the crowd shouted.

This made Soleil uneasy. She really didn't want to be the center of attention but she knows that she needs to get used with it for she was a presidential daughter and right now with him is the country's most famous star.

He made his way to where Soleil's friends was sitting and as he saw his sister he greeted her. This is the first!

"Hi dear twin of mine!" Ezekiel said happily to her.

In her part, Ally was really shocked. He never greets her in front of this crowd. This kinda made her heart melt. With these she knows that Soleil is good for her brother. She had this feeling that she could change him into a better one.

"Hello. Nice to see you two being friends and all!" Ally said to him.

"Yup!" He said emphasizing the 'p' in there. "Well, I better get to my friends before they do something crazy." He said and left them there.

But before he turned away, he looked at Soleil and said good bye to her.

Everyone in the cafeteria were stopping from shouting with giddiness just because of what they saw.

Ally too was becoming a fan of them. "Hey, what was that?" She asked her

"What was what?" Soleil asked her in return

"You and him! Don't tell me the both of you made out in the clinic and that's why you're with him!" She said teasingly

Soleil's eyes went huge and said, "What? I didn't! He just wanted to have a new start and I'm giving that to him after all he's a nice guy."

Ally just gave her a teasing look while Soleil seeing this made her roll her eyes.

Ezekiel on the other hand was so annoyed with his friends. They kept teasing him. He just wanted to be friends, really with her.

Instead of being around his friends he went to the garden. Due to his surprise he's phone busted up with notifications. He opened this curiously. This made him even more surprised!

A picture of him and Soleil was posted online when he carried her out of the gym and when they were walking together. There wasn't really a caption on it but with this picture scattering online, made his manager called.
