whenever i get upset, people tell me that they'll always be here for me
that they'll always be here if i need to vent or just talk
but when i have the urges to hurt myself, and i turn to the ones i trusted, no one is there for me
people lie and manipulate others to get them under their control just for their enjoyment
i am no longer going to fall into their traps
