I was born into a generation where validation of atypical peers is necessary, and even expected, on social media, so that no one feels alone and hated

however, in the real world, everyone takes a break from their fake Internet personas and becomes their true selves. this is where it's obvious that the abnormal people are treated differently, even by the people preaching over the Internet how we need to accept everyone

why is this so-called "validation" being sought out online when, in reality, it's just thought-out fabrications? it's just crushing the spirits of these deviant people, making them become more guarded and increasing the distinction between normal people and ridiculed people
