when you hear the name of your drug of choice,

you can't help but grin.

you can't hold in the joy.

however, you can't prevent the feeling that washes over you right after the joy;

guilt.

guilt because you've lost everyone you love.

guilt because you've chosen the substance over relationships.

guilt because you've wasted your life,

and you'll never be able to get it back.
