A/N: I know what you are thinking.

"What? S.H.I.E.L.D tested on Christy?"

Don't worry all this and more will be explained in this chapter:)

I hope you have some time on your hands because this might take a while to read, (longest chapter I have EVER done.)

Enjoy!

Chapter 11-Chisty's past.

"That was not very ladylike," Pepper says correcting me.

I shrug, Pepper reminds me of how a mother would act.

"Naw! I think it was very brave. Good job, Christy!" Tony says smiling as he opens the limousine door for me.

"Thanks," I mumble as I climb into the limousine.

"Don't encourage her, Tony! She should learn proper etiquette," Pepper says sliding in next to me, "Look I'm not saying it wasn't brave. It's just...and she....Tony it will be a miracle if we can even step foot in that restaurant again," Pepper says.

"I don't even like Dinnè Cuisinè," Tony says.

"I do!" Pepper squeals.

I know my face is turning red but I refuse to defend myself. It would just make matters worse. Steve sits beside me, since I have already refused to look at him, I look at the black carpet in the limousine. Actually if I wasn't a S.H.I.E.L.D agent I would be crying.

"This night is ruined!" Pepper says.

Okay forget what I said about the tears thing. I'm bawling.

"Steve, can we switch seats?" I ask just before the tears start to flow.

"Of course," he says as he quickly switches to my seat.

I really don't want to sit next to Pepper, or Tony, or Steve for that matter. I have always been a silent crier. Always will be. Thank goodness Cara and Hill put waterproof mascara on me. But who cares I know I look awful. No one cares about me anyway. Not even Fury cares.

I wipe the tears off my face, while Tony and Pepper's arguing becomes distant.

"Are you alright?" I hear Steve whisper in my ear.

I nod.

"We are at Stark Towers. Come on," he tells me.

Steve basically has to pull me out of the limousine. But he has super strength so it wasn't hard. He leads me to our jet where Derrick is waiting for us.

"Steve, wait! I have to give this dress back to Pepper!" I say.

"No you don't," I hear Pepper's voice say.

As soon as I turn she engulfs me in a hug. I instantly freeze because I have only been hugged by Clint. And he's miles away.

"I'm so sorry, Christy. I didn't mean to say those things. Can you ever forgive me?" She asks.

I fake smile and hug her back, though the pain from her words still linger. It took all my willpower but I didn't squeeze her to death.

"Yes." I replied even though I was lying through my teeth. I've never been able to forgive that easily.

"Thank you, Christy. Keep the dress. I have a hundred like it, you saw," she says as she pushes Cara's blue dress into my hands.

"Thank you," I say, very baffled. Honestly I don't want the dress-it's to fancy and I'm still angry at Pepper but I'm not going to argue.
