Cel was laying across my bed when we walked into the room with her head at the end of the bed. She didn't look up from watching the television, even though she was frantic as to know where we were a few minutes again.

"Great," Jack muttered, catching sight of 'The Vampire Diaries' on my television. "Who let her have the remote?" he asked, spying the other people of our group, and Robbie, in the room as well. None of them claimed the bed, and I was sure that Cel had pushed them off.

"Robbie did," Garrett muttered, sulking in the corner. He scowled when I started to snicker at him and flicked me the bird. He narrowed his eyes when I stuck my tongue out at him and looked away.

"Shhhhh," Cel said, waving her hand, trying to stop us from talking. "Or else, I'll have Trent put you in the other corner."

I snickered and looked at Robbie, raising an eyebrow. "Wanna go for it?" I asked, folding my arms across my chest.

Robbie mimicked me and raised an eyebrow. "If you keep calling me Robbie, I wil," he said, teasingly.

I smirked, wanting to take this challenge. "Robbie," I said, slowly as if I was talking to a child. I moved out of his way when he lunged at me, laughing. "Come on, Robbie. You can do better than that," I taunted, earning a growl from him. I watched as Garrett growl silently and tense up a bit. 'Stay, I am fine.'

Garrett huffed and watched as Robbie went at me again. His whole body was tense, and I knew that I probably had to stop this mock fight before he loses it. He had shifted his weight on one leg, and I could tell that he would jump in if need be.

I caught Robbie's hand and knocked his legs from underneath him. After I had him on the ground, I sat on him, making sure that both his legs and arms were locked in place. I stayed put while he started to thrash around and trying to knock me off of him, laughing.

"Just don't hurt my mate too bad, please," Cel said, not even looking at us. "I don't want to scare him away."

"Your face scares him away," Garrett muttered, earning a pillow from Cel. "That's child abuse," he called out, throwing the pillow back at her.

"More like animal abuse," Cel shot back. She sat up and tossed the pillow back at him and they started to throw the pillow at each other. "Now, quit it before I put your head up your ass and make you into a ball."

"Does this happen a lot?" Robbie asked, relaxing underneath my hold.

"Pretty much every day," Jack replied. He looked towards the door and his whole body tensed. A small, barely audible, growl escaped his lips, causing me to look up to see my mate watching me with hurt in his eyes.

'Should we act like we were doing what he thinks we were doing?' I asked, Crya. I got off of Robbie, watching my mate as helped Robbie up. "What do you want?" I asked, coldly.

'No,' Cyra said. 'Let's let him think that we were doing it, but tell him if he accuses us.'

"I want to talk to you, please," Thomas said. He glanced at my friends before looking back at me. There was a scowl on his face, and I could tell that he didn't like me hanging out with males. "Alone."

I looked at my friends and nodded my head to let them know that I would be fine. "Do you think that you can hide out in Thomas's room please?" I asked. "I think I need to talk to him."

They nodded and left the room, leaving both Thomas and I alone.

And, I couldn't help but wish that Garrett was still with me in the room with my mate.

"So, I see that you are getting cozy with my Beta," Thomas said, coldly.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes. "Ya, like I go after guys that have mates," I replied, sarcastically. I folded my arms across my chest and glared at him. "I will never do that to one of my best friends."

Thomas scoffed. "And what about me?"

"What about you?" I asked, appalled. "You are the one that cheats on me. You are the one that sent me outta this fucking pack, because you are my fucking mate, and you didn't want me. So, what about you? You are someone that I am really thinking about rejecting. You are someone that I have loved ever since we were little kids." I shook my head and blinked back tears that were wanting to fall. "You were my first crush, my best friend, and my protector." I closed my eyes and looked away from him, taking in a shaky breath. "How much was true?"

Thomas stayed silent, and I could tell that he was in shock. I had confessed that I had loved him, and I was sure that he wasn't expecting it. "All this time?" he asked.

I nodded my head in confirmation. "I want to hate you," I whispered. "I really want to, but I can't. I don't know if it is because of this fucking mate bond or my feelings, but I can't hate you."

Thomas didn't say a word but stared at me. I knew that there was shock and pain in his eyes, but I couldn't bring myself to look into his eyes.

I wanted to cry. I wanted to cry and scream at him for making me feel this way. I wanted him to feel my pain and suffering. I took a deep breath while a traitorous tear left my eye and roll down my cheek. "I think you should leave," I said, chanting myself to stay strong and not cry.

The door opened and then closed, and I knew that my mate had left.

I sat down on the floor and moved my hand through my hair. I hated this feeling. I hated feeling weak and worthless, and I couldn't help but curse myself for caring.
