Okie dokie, so here's a list of all the cliches/tropes I attempted to tackle. Some of them were evident, others were subtle. They aren't in any particular order, though they probably should be.

Disclaimer: I love 99% of everything on this list and have absolutely nothing against fics that have any of these things. Cliches are lovely.

here we go:

• basically everyone is bisexual/gay

• the story doesn't [completely] follow the blurb

• the author is a person who knows little to nothing about the type of people they're writing about; characters are attempted to be made out as realistic by being based off stereotypes *coughcoughcough*

• everyone just so happens to be [kind of] where the author is located i wonder why that is

• Louis as a cheesy romantic, which isn't very.. Louis

• love at first sight

• Gryles; bad past relationship

• references everywhere

• the plot is all over the place

• Harold is a lil innocent smol bean who is too precious for this world (which I guess is actually true so)

• some things happened too quick, whereas others dragged on forever

• unnecessary drama

• little to no character development
