*IF YOU GUYS HAVEN'T READ YOUR SALAH YET, THEN REMEMBER THAT THIS BOOK IS NOT IMPORTANT AT ALL COMPARED TO YOUR SALAH*

Recap...

We first change into our pajamas. I change into my fluffy pajama pants, and a plain white full sleeve shirt. After we all change, we then eat the pizza so it doesn't get cold. It has all my favorite toppings on it like mushrooms, pineapples, and jalapeno.

After the pizza is finished, Saafiya and I put the junk food into bowls while Umme picked out a movie to watch. Obviously we picked out a chick flick since we were having a sleepover. Personally, I don't really watch movies often since they aren't recommended in Islam, but when we are having a sleepover, we sometimes do.

After we were done the two hour long chick flick, we still had lots of candy and chocolate leftover, so we decided to make a dessert pizza after doing thorough research on which recipes we were going to use. Everyone made their own dessert pizza, and I chose to put white chocolate chips, Smarties, and broken up pieces of chocolate all over the cookie dough base.

We all had a bit of each other's dessert pizza's and it was easily eatable since we made them quite small. Umme's mom had fell asleep, so we were careful with not making a lot of noise since that would be pretty rude.

After we were finished with the food, we decided to read Isha Salah, since we hadn't read it yet, and then we opened up our sleeping bags and went to sleep, since we were tired from the events of a long day. I made sure to read the Surahs I recite before I go to sleep, and all the other Dua's as well.

CHAPTER 31

"You look so beautiful Umme!" I yell out to her and she glares back at me.

"I can't believe I'm getting married!" She says squealing to Saafiya and me with a beaming smile on her face.

"I can't believe you are as well." Saafiya says hugging her.

"Hey! You're going to ruin my masterpiece!" The makeup artist yells at Saafiya and she quickly backs off of Umme.

After the makeup artist is done her task, Umme changes into her red wedding gown that is heavily embellished with jewels and intricate embroidery. Her mom comes in and gives her the jewelry that has been in her mom's generation for many centuries. It's a simple but elegant gold necklace, and 4 gold bangles lined with small rubies and diamonds.

Her mom then goes downstairs to check up on the refreshments and welcomes everyone that has arrived so far. Umme and her family decided on having the Nikah at their own house, but the Walima is going to be held at a banquet hall. I want the same thing for me because it allows for some privacy to exist within the house as well as prior to the Walima.

I was wearing a beige floor-length gown that had sequins embroidered all over the arms and side. It also was loose and the sleeves were made of lace that had cloth underneath, so my skin didn't show. Saafiya was also wearing the same gown as me since Umme wanted us to match. I had to get mine heavily altered as my 5' something figure would never have fit into the gown otherwise. Saafiya with her tall frame pulled it off quite well and didn't need to get it altered.

Umme wears her silk red undercarf and we help her put on the red chiffon scarf. The Nikah is about to start so I go downstairs to tell Umme's mom, that she is ready. As I go looking for Umme's mom, I see mom and Adnan's mom talking.

They see me looking their way, and wave at me. As I wave back, my suspicions seem to increase the feeling that I have been keeping in denial for the past few months. When I do see Umme's mom, I tell her that Umme's ready, and in return she tells me that we can take her down in fifteen minutes.
