Harry’s POV
“Mummmm do I have to go?” I moaned

“Yes Harry, her father just died.” My mom replied sternly.

“I don’t even know her!” I exclaimed

“I do! I was taking care of her mom at the hospital when she had cancer, I also knew her father who I went to high school with.” My mom said angrily

“But I didn’t know her parents” I said looking away

“For god sake Harry, she goes to your school. Do it for her. Even if you’re not close!” my mom yelled

“Wait… she goes to my school? Is she new” I asked

“She was… about 10 years ago!” my mom exclaimed.

I hadn’t meant to get my mom so upset, but Lexi my girlfriend is having a party and I thought tonight I would finally be able to fuck her, unfortunately, this funeral thingy ends at 11. My mom doesn’t like it when I go to parties so she limits me to one every month, and since I went to one last week, it would look suspicious if I left the house at 11pm. Maybe I could say I’m sleeping over at Louis. Yeah, that’s what I’ll do.

“Okay, let’s go.” I replied calmly.

“Put on something nice first. The man just died.” My mom said walking away.

I ran upstairs and put on a fancy blazer thing and some nice pants and shoes. I ran downstairs and my mom was waiting for me outside in the car. I ran outside and it was raining. I quickly hoped in the car and we headed off.

“Mom, what’s this girl’s name?” I asked

“Diana. Diana Rose.” My mom said clearly annoyed.

“Look mom, I don’t know everyone at my school” I said upset

“Why Harry? You think you’re too cool to talk to the other kids who aren’t as good looking as you” she said. Wow, thanks mom.

“No, that’s bullshit” I replied

“Watch your mouth!” she snapped

“Look, I’m popular, I can’t help that. I also can’t be friends with everybody.” I said looking out the window.

“Who have you become Harry?” my mom said. It wasn’t as much of a question as it was a statement.

We arrived at the cemetery and lots of people were there. This guy must have been liked.

“Mom, why are there so many people?” I asked

“Holmes Chapel is a small town, everyone knows everyone. Most of these people went to high school with him, or they knew his wife” my mom whispered to me.

I looked around and everyone was dressed in black. I know it’s wrong but I was looking everywhere for some hot girls. None. Then one girl caught my eye. She was standing beside the casket. She had on a little black dress. Her dress was lace. Everyone else’s was boring and bland but hers wasn’t, it suited her, it had a nice cut about mid-thigh, and it looked really pretty on her. She had long brown hair but was looking down.

“That’s the daughter.” My mom whispered as we sat down.

She looked up and I knew who she was immediately. The reason I was popular.
