"You know were you could know Sincere from ?" I sat on Augusts lap and began to play with his hair
"No but I know I've seen his face" August looked at me
"Why did he mention anything" he reached for the remote
"No but he's been acting strange, maybe he's just going through something" I shrugged , August nodded

"Diamond Alsina" I smiled, as I looked up at August
"Sounds about right" he kissed my lips then He pulled out a ring and slid it on my finger. I looked at it then him confused.
"What's this for ?" I asked staring at him
"Promise ring" he smiled down at me and kissed my forehead

Sincere POV

"Diamond baby" I called and she came and sat on my lap in my oversized shirt
"Yes Cerey" she kissed my lips and looked in my eyes
"I love you baby" i told her
"I love you too daddy" she smiled at me as I rubbed her stomach
"I love you too son" I smiled and kissed my pregnant wife's stomach.
It was all so perfect, It felt like a dream .

I opened my eyes and looked around. I was in Chanel's bed and she came out the bathroom and sat next to me as I got up and put my clothes on.

"What's wrong baby ? You didn't like what I gave you last night ?" She wrapped herself around my back
"It was Iight but Imma be out" I got up and grabbed my keys
"Why won't you stay ?" She pouted
"Because your not my girl Chanel, I don't want you to get the wrong idea" I said standing up looking down at her on the bed, then I began to walk out

"I heard you call me Diamond last night" I turned to her, she looked hurt
"I'm sorry" I scratched my neck
"What does she have that I don't ?" Chanel asked looking at my face searching for a answer. But I couldn't do anything but stare, I felt bad for her.
"Just get out Sincere, I'll see you later" she shook her head turning around
I sighed walking over to the bed and sitting next to her
"You wanna go get something to eat ?" I asked her faking a smile, she shook her head yes, and pulled me into a hug

Darren POV

I sat at the table, waiting for Diamond to come, hoping she would be alone

"Hey" she walked over to the table, she looked beautiful, she had on a pink sundress with her valentines day Jordan's.
"Hey" I got up from the table and gave her a hug
"So how have you been ?" She said skimming the menu
"I've been good, I talked to a Aaron yesterday" her eyes suddenly became interested
"How is he ?" She asked staring at me studying my features, picking out the ones the same as Aaron's
"He's coming come early since the storm, he should be back on Friday" I smiled at her I could tell everytime I flashed her a smile it swooned her
"You two really look the same like you could be twins if he didn't have braces" she looked amazed
"I wish you had a twin" I smiled admiring her beauty, just then the waiter came over

She took our orders and then slid me her number, she wasn't my type, I slid it back. She looked at Diamond who wasn't paying attention she was on her phone.

"Oh, You two are cute together" the waiter said thinking she had caught on, and walked away
Diamond looked up from her phone
"She was talking about us ?" She giggled putting her phone down
"Yeah" I smirked

She shook her head as the food came we were eating and laughing and talking.
"How's school princess" I asked her as we both took out our wallets.
I looked up at her
"I got it" I took out money and put it in the check
"No your in college you need your money, I'll pay, this could be a thanks for taking me home the other night" she took out my money, gave it back and put two twentys in the bill and gave it to the waiter
"Keep the change" Diamond smiled
I put my money back in my wallet and looked up at her.
She was watching me, she blushed once she noticed what she was doing and looked out the window.

Once she did that her whole expression changed, she looked distant like as if in shock
"Diamond ?" I asked looking at her, she now looked confused then hurt. I turned and looked out the window.

Then I saw it, I went over to her side of the booth and wrapped her in my arms
"He doesn't deserve you princess" I rubbed her hair taking in the scent of her, she suddenly broke lose and ran out the restaurant. I sighed and picked up her purse and phone then went after her.

Diamond POV


"August ?" I felt the tears pour down my cheeks

He turned around and his face was in shock. Chanel was smirking, I wanted to kill her but as soon as I charged towards her, a strong hand grabbed my arm.

"Stop Darren , LET ME GO" he didn't budge
"It's not worth it" he told me

"Baby" August stepped closer to me
I shook my head and stepped up to be face to face to him
"Im not your baby August, this ?? Us ?? It's done" I took off the promise ring and dropped it in front of him.
"Diamond" he called my name and i turned around

"No August, this is the second time, why do you insist on hurting me ? Id give you anything ! But you keep throwing it away for hoes, you say she's trying to break us but it seems like you don't fight it. How do you think i feel ? Looking through a window and seeing my boyfriend being kissed by another girl ? It hurts and until you can get yourself together and control this" I pointed to Chanel
"There is no us" I shook my head and started walking back towards Darren

As I was walking then August spinned me around and kissed my lips with hope and passion then pulled away.
"I need you baby, I want to be with you Diamond" he looked down at me and I saw a tear drop.
"I want to be with you to August but you need to get it together and I need some time to think" I kissed his cheek and walked away.

"Are you ok princess ?" Darren asked me, I nodded and brought him into a hug, I really needed some comfort.

"What happened ?" He asked
"We broke up" I crooked out
"I'm sorry" he brought me closer and let me cry on his shoulder.

I turned to look at August. He was yelling at Chanel, she looked scared. He yelled something at her and she jumped. He picked up the ring and put it in his pocket. Then he got in his car and drove off.

"Imma go home" I told Darren, he nodded and we parted ways

Sincere POV

"They broke up" Chanel said she looked sad as she got in the car
"Why are you so sad ? You finally got what you want" I asked her
"But he hates me" she looked as if she was gonna cry
I shook my head and started to drive

Chanel POV

As Sincere drove me home I could hear August words Eco in the back of my head.

"DO YOU SEE WHAT YOUVE DONE? I LOVE HER, I DONT LOVE YOU YOUR N O T H I N G TO ME, YOUR SO FUCKING LUCKY I DONT HIT WOMEN, YOUVE NEVER BEEN ANYTHING ALL YOU DO IS STEAL MY HAPPINESS, DONT TEXT ME, DONT CALL ME AND DONT FUCKING LOOK AT ME , IM SO FUCKING DONE WITH YOU" he spat out his words in disgust
"Get the fuck from in front of my car before I run you over" his fist were balled up and his eyes were filled with rage

"August" I wimpered
"DONT FUCKING TALK TO ME" he yelled making me jump he got in his car then pulled off.

I turned and watched as Diamond watched and I saw this look in her eyes I've never seen , it was a mix of pain and rage. She shook her head at me and got in her car and drove off.


Is this really what I wanted ?
