The Choice

Aaron's POV

I woke up to the smell of pancakes. Damn I'm gonna miss my moms cooking , I went into my bathroom, did my hygiene stuff then came back in my room. I grabbed my phone and called August first that was my bro I needed to tell him. It was 10:30 I hope this niggas up.
The phone rang twice then he picked up

"What nigga ? You know what time it is ? I got half the mind to put my foot up your"
"Nigga shut up you only got half a mind in the first place, come to my crib I need to talk to you it's important"
He sighed then yawned "Iight I'll be there in 20 "

Next I called Diamond, damn I didn't want to tell her
The phone rang once and she picked up I smiled at the sound if her beautiful voice.

"GoodMorning Sunshine" she said melting my heart
"Hey sweetie, Uhm I need you to come to my house , I gotta talk to you about something"
I could hear her voice become serious .
"Are you ok ? "
" yeah I'm fine I just need to talk"
I heard her sigh in relief , I loved how she cared about me
"Okay I'll be there in 10"

I got up and went down stairs ,
"Hey ma"
"Hey baby I'm going to walmart do you need anything"
I wrote down a list of things is need for my trip, she looked at it and smiled hugging me then kissing my cheek
"I'm gonna miss you baby I'm so proud of you"
"I'm gonna miss you too ma"

And with that she left, I watched her pull out the drive way then I went to the stove and stacked my plate with pancakes after I finished eating the door bell rang.

It was Diamond she looked so beautiful, she had on a white tank top, white track shorts, with knee socks and her Jordan breds on I could tell she just got out of bed by her messy hair but it looked good on her.
She ran her fingers through her hair and gave me a worried look
"Are you ok" she pulled me into a tight hug then looked up at me with concerned eyes
"I'll tell you when August gets here" I said savoring the hug then slowly I made me hands to her ass, it looked so good in this short.
She squealed as I gripped it making me chuckle, then she released herself from the hug and gave me a playful glare before walking into the kitchen.

August POV

I got to Aaron's house and saw Diamonds car in the driveway. What'd he have to tell us ? I got out the car and jogged to the door, opening it.

"Aaron ?" I called closing the door
"Were in here" he guided me into the kitchen , him and Diamond were already sitting at the table. I was taken back by her natural beauty.
"So wassup ?" I questioned setting my keys down on the table and taking a seat.
"Well you remember when I signed up last year to play ball over seas ?" He finally said
"Yeah" I nodded
"Well I made it and the want me." He smiled but it quickly vanished
"But I have to leave Tuesday" he added looking from me to Diamond, I was in shock, I then saw a tear run down Diamonds face

Damn

She got up and stood by the counter, wiping her tears .
"How long?" Is all she could choke out, I wanted to hold her but I knew it wasn't my place right now.
"3 months" Aaron said getting up from his seat and walking over to her
He turned her around and hugged her placing a kiss on her forehead
Jealousy was coursing through my veins but I knew they were close.
"Damn bro" was all I could get out , they both came and sat down at the table, tears still streaming down Diamonds face.

"So you leave on Tuesday ?" Diamond finally broke the silence, she looked distant .
Aaron just nodded ,
"I'm going to miss you Bestfriend" Diamond wrapped her arms around him
"I'm going to miss you too baby" he replied , I was frozen I couldn't speak I was really gonna miss my bro
"I'm really gonna miss you bro" I finally said making them both look at me

Diamond grabbed my hand , her touch sending chills down my spine

"And there's something else in need to talk to y'all about" Aaron said looking from me to Diamond
"I see the way you two look at eachother" he said smiling
"I can feel the tension when y'all are in the same room" he added

Then he looked to Diamond "Diamond I love you and you know I do but I've came to the conclusion that you don't belong with me" he moved the hair out of her face
Where was he going with this ?

"You too belong together and while I'm gone I want y'all to do me a favor and make that happen" then he looked to me
"August promise me you'll watch after my baby girl while I'm gone, treat her right" he told me saying the last part sternly

Diamonds POV

The words coming out of Aaron's mouth shocked me, even though they were all true. I just looked from him to August and I knew that they were thinking the same.

My and August just nodded. We agreed to all spent Monday and Tuesday til Aaron's 6 pm flight.
August after hugging Aaron and I did the same. I walked out the door to see him leaned against my car.
"Were his words true ?" August asked looking down at me , I nodded.

Without letting another second past August grabbed my face and bought me into a kiss. He pulled our body's together, holding me, making me gasp for air
"I'll text you" was all he said before pecking my lips getting in his car and driving away.

When I got home I check my phone and got a text from August
August 😘😍; Me and you dinner tonight ? Be ready at 7

I smiled to myself, I ran into my house to get ready for my date with August Alsina 💕
