They will steal the light within you and it is your job to rekindle it. Not anyone else's job. Yours.
Hope will diminish and your stars will burn out. But the world doesn't run without hope and the sky is merely a patch of black without the stars. They'll come back.
For every lost soul there is a star in each of us. It burns, glints and shines, though we never see it. It hides from us, from our wondering souls, and our job is to find that star for our lost souls.
