You walked through the halls of Beacon Hills High in desperate search of Scott. Normally, you wouldn't be so frantic while looking for your best friends, but tonight was going to be a bad night for you to be alone. There was going to be a full moon tonight and you needed someone to help you through it. You were terrible during them.

As you continued to wander, you secretly hoped that Stiles would be nowhere in sight. You still had yet to tell him of your newly found powers. Even though he was possibly the best friend you had ever had, you still wanted to keep it a secret. Not to mention the fact that you were absolutely head over heels for the guy, as you have been since you were kids. You just didn't want him to get hurt anymore than he possibly could.

Relief settled in your stomach once your eyes landed on the alpha, especially because Stiles wasn't with him. Quickly, you closed the distance between you, smiling nervously. "Hey."

"Hi, Y/N." He averted his attention from his locker and over to you. "What's up?"

"Tonight." You trailed off, hoping that he would catch on. A look of remembrance replaced his smile as he continued to look at you.

"Yeah, right." He replied, fiddling with the straps on his bookbag. "Do you want to just come over to my place then?"

"Sounds good." You smiled, nodding your head. "Thank you so much, Scott."

"It's no problem. Really."

"What's no problem?"

You turned to see Stiles, both of you probably looking like deer caught in headlights. The two of you exchanged a glance before Scott covered for you.

"She's been having trouble with history, so I was going to let her copy my notes." He explained, fiddling with his bookbag straps once more. You knew he had the tendency to do that when he was nervous.

"I could've helped you." Stiles said. Your heart fluttered a bit, although you knew he was only saying that because of the mere fact that you were friends, nothing more.

"I didn't want to bother you." You lied, hoping that he would cease to interrogate you.

"It wouldn't have bothered me."

"Well, it just seemed that you've been busy with research and homework and all of that."

"I could make time for you. So, if you need any further help just know you can come to me, too." He offered with a grin. With a nod and another flutter in your chest, you smiled back.

You had to look away to save yourself from getting lost in his eyes, something that you did a lot. Ending on that note, Stiles then delved into a new topic, informing you and Scott on his newest theories of Beacon Hill's newest big bad. You began to think about how much longer you'd be able to keep this secret from him. It was only a matter of time until he did. And something told you he wouldn't be happy about the revelation.

"Thank you again."

"Normally, someone wouldn't be saying that to me if I were tying them to a wooden beam." Scott chuckled, the leather restrains now fully restraining you from lashing out.

"Well, these aren't exactly normal circumstances, are they?" You chuckled as well, although there was a hint of sadness mixed in.

"I guess not." He smiled sadly.

A knock on the door pulled your attention away from the task at hand. Scott looked at you anxiously before jogging back up the stairs to see who it was. You could already feel yourself beginning to transform, your heart speeding up.
