After crying in Max's arms, I decided to tell him about me. I told him about my parents, the orphanage, and Annie. While telling him this he stroked my head, and said "I'm so sorry".
After telling him my story I tried to pull back, but Max pulled me back and said "Just a little more" I nodded and rested my head on his shoulder, I began to drift off.
I slightly opened my eyes,
"Good evening"
I look up to see Max, we were still in the same position. I quickly got off of him, "s-sorry" I said this with an embarrassed face.
Jay-"What about class!"
Max-"It's already lunch time"
Max got up and stretched, he then turned to me and reached out his hand, toward me. I looked at him and took it, Max lifted me up and hugged me.
*This warmth.., it makes me feel so safe. I don't want to leave. I... I think I finally know if I like Max.*
Max and me separated, Max starts to walk off when I grabbed onto his hand. He stumbled back, when he found his footing, he turned to me in a confused way. That's when I grabbed his collar of his jacket and pulled him toward me. I then pressed my lips to his. We separated and I let go of Max, I looked to see Max dumbfounded and lost. I look at him and said "I-I like you". I was then embraced my Max, I wrapped my arms around his neck. We both leaned in for a kiss,
???-"It's about time!"
Max and I both looked to see the whole gang. Everyone was standing there jaws dropped, some of them faked gaged. Max and I quickly parted and looked away.
*How embarrassing!!*
Jay-"Umm.., how much did you guys see?"
Will-"Everything!!"
I could feel my face get hot, I look over at Max and I see his face beat red.
We all walked to the cafeteria, there was nothing but silence. Max stood beside me, I then felt a warm touch on my hand. I noticed that Max was holding my hand. I looked up to him, he looked down at me. We both leaned into a kiss, but before the kiss Max whispered "I love you"
The kiss felt so gentle and warm.
After the kiss I whispered " I love you too"
