The vampires arrive today and I feel like I'm losing my mind. I've planned and prepared and planned some more but I'm still worried. I've gone over every scenario in my head and non of them end well. "Darling look at me everything will be fine. They all love you, listen to you, and respect you. You're their queen little one". I took a deep breath shaking my head at his statement. "It doesn't have anything to do with me Kol I'm worried about how they'll get along with each other I mean think about it I had to take away the use of magic just to keep things from heating up now imagine when the vampires arrive". He chuckled slightly at my high pitched tone. "What's making lily all worried in there?" Nik questioned from the other room knowing I only use that tone when I'm worried. I smiled slightly but it feel when I sensed the presence of the vampires getting extremely close. Kol placed his hand on my shoulder as Nik walked in offering me his most likely already knowing why my smile had faded. They led me outside where everyone was waiting patiently for me and the vampires were walking up to join them. Everyone stayed calm as they did but me. I tensed slightly but relaxed when everyone stayed calmed and did absolutely nothing other than stay put. I took a deep breath before nodding to the boys and signaling them to join Finn, Lijah, and Bekah in the crowd and beginning. "It's been a pleasure to meet you all and have you here with us. As for our newest arrivals my name is Nina I am to be your queen. We have three rules here that are to be followed or you will be punished. Now it's literally impossible to break the first because of a spell I have cast. First rule no use of supernatural abilities in or around this home. The second is no arguing or fighting. The final rule is to have fun, meet new people, get outside your comfort zones. Not that hard to follow but I can promise that if you don't you won't like your punishment. I know that most of us are natural born enemies but we need to get past our hatred for each other so we can finally be united together. It will make us stronger and that's what we all want isn't it? Now Nik has prepared an amazing lunch for all of us, let's eat". Everyone shouted, cheered, and clapped before following me inside in a straight line already used to how things worked around here. Nik made my plate filling it to the edges before pouring me a glass of blood and handing it to me. I stuffed my face everyone watching amused like normal. My food was gone within five minutes and I chugged down my blood handing my plate and cup to Nik who was already waiting for them. He refilled them handing them back for me to finish in under five minutes yet again. I stood taking them to the sink before kissing his cheek. "I'm going for a run, anyone want to join me"? I got a few nods in agreement and left to go change into my running clothes. Before I left I went to the kitchen to fill my water bottle. "You ready"? They nodded their heads and we left.

I ran for about an hour and a half used to the long workout. Most everyone else quit after thirty minutes but I'd just begun my routine. I started out by stretching every single muscle in my body. Next I would jog slowly speeding up the longer we were outside. By the end I would be running at an extremely quick pace. I would eventually stop and take a break while drinking some of the water from the bottle filled before leaving. I'd restretch my muscles and run home.

I walked through the door yelling "I'm back". I heard Nik and Kol in the kitchen and Bekah, Lijah, and Finn in the living room along with our quest. I needed more water and a huge glass of blood so I went into the kitchen. "Welcome home little one did you enjoy your run"? I nodded chugging down my water before grabbing a blood bag and doing the same. "Yes I did but now I'm thirsty". They laughed and told me some if the vampires wanted to introduce themselves to me so I walked into the living room.

All eyes turned to look at me as I entered. Bekah laughed at my sweat covered body and the fact that I had blood running down from the side of my lip. Finn smiled at me while Lijah had an amused look and questioned me. "Did you enjoy the run? You couldn't have taken a shower? Were you thirsty"? I laughed and told him one at a time before answering. "Of course I did, Nik and Kol said it was important so no, and yes extremely". They nodded and the vampires started to introduce themselves to me. "It's a honor to me you Ms. Knight. My name is Benjamin Wade Bryant. If you wish to you can call me Ben". I smiled at the man and shook his hand. "It's nice to meet you as well Ben and please call me Nina or really anything other than Ms. Knight. Now if you'd all excuse me I'm going to go and take a shower once I'm done we are all going to play another game. Bekah please make sure Nik and Kol are here when I'm done". They nodded and I went to shower.

About half way through my shower Finn came into my room and took a seat on my bed. "Hey little red". "Hey Finn, do you need something". "No I just wanted to know if you'd like to spend sometime with me and Elijah tomorrow since you're always with Nik and Kol. Oh yeah and Bekah was wondering if after you wanted to have a girls night". I thought it over while rinsing the shampoo from my hair. "I'd love to Finn. Would you mind handing me a towel"? I stuck my hand outside of the shower curtain and soon after felt a towel being placed in it. I pulled it into the shower with me wrapping it around my body before stepping out. I walked over to my bag and grabbed some clothes thanking Finn before getting dressed. "Thank you Finn". "You're welcome little one, did you know you have another note"? I shook my head no and he handed me the note. I kissed his cheek before taking the note and heading to the living room to show the others. On our way Finn grabbed my hand intertwining our fingers. I smiled at him and we continued on our way.

When we walked into the room I let go of Finns hand waving the slip of paper in the air before sitting down in Niks lap and pulling my feet into Kols. He smirked looking over to me and placing his hands on my legs until he saw the piece of paper. He nodded his head to it and I began reading it out loud.

My Dearest Nina,
I suppose that you believed me when I told you that I meant you nor the Mikaelsons harm because no one's been digging around trying to find me. Though I'm in the clear now I know that you will eventually want to know more about me so when you're ready to search for answers you can look at this address.

This is my home where you'll find the information you want to know. Now on a different note I hear that you're making an amazing queen. You've brought them together without even trying, stood up for them, set rules for them to follow, and you've been honest with them. They look up to and respect you, look at you as their queen. You're strength and courage will soon be tested to make sure you are ready to be queen. In my opinion it isn't needed cause you'd pass with flying colors and even though the spirits agree they think that it's only fair to do it. I have to go now but I'll write again soon.

Love,
R.E.J

Once I was finished reading the note I handed it back to Finn who sat it with the others. I leaned my head onto Niks chest grabbing Kols hand. I was soon drifting to sleep. I felt myself being lifted and breathed in the familiar smell of blood mixed with the fresh ocean air, the smell of Kol. Nik smelt like blood, trees, and fresh cut grass, Lijah smelt of cologne, Finn smelt of a rainy day, and Bekah smelt like flowers. I snuggled closer to Kols chest wrapping my arms around his neck and wispered "night Kol, love you". "How'd you know it was me"? I smiled thinking of the reason before answering. "Because when I inhaled I smelt blood and the ocean which is what you smell like. The others have certain smells as well but non are the same. Nik smells of blood, trees, and fresh cut grass, Lijah smells of cologne, Finn smells like a rainy day, and Bekah smells like flowers". He laughed at my tired explanation and said "well that's nice to know. You smell of blood, an island surrounded by water and covered with trees, and vanilla". I giggled tightening my grip around his neck and burying my face farther into his chest.
