Chapter 5: Promise

That dream I had last night at Niall's really freak me out. I lied to him that I forgot what is it all about. I really want to forgot it but I couldn't. It feels alike more than a dream. "Don't over think too much to that Ace, it was just a dream" I told myself.    Whoa, I'm going crazy now. Stop it.

This day is different from the past. Me and Niall got some odd stares from the guys at school. Lunch time came and we sat at our regular seat at the last row to the left of the canteen. I popped up a conversation of us two.

"Don't leave me Niall"

"What?"

"I said don't leave me"

"Why would I leave you?"

"I don't know" I shrugged.

"Is there something I don't know?"

"Uh... uhm" I don't know if I'll say it to him or just lie again. He gave me a 'go on' look.

"Last night, I uh, had a dream"

"And?"

"You leave me there"  I  said. Shyly.

"I left you?"

"Yeah?"

"I thought you forgot about that dream?"

"I don't know"

"Don't know what?"

"Erm. Nothing. Let's  just not talk about it" He laughed softly.

"And why is Snowflake laughing?"

"About that"

"What is funny about that? It isn't funny tho"

"Because it won't happen" He said smiling. God, he's so freaking adorable!

"Okay" I shrugged it off, the the bell rang. I stood up from my spot "Let's go" He got up from his seat then straight to our class.

Days flew fast. I looked up at my calendar on my wall. May 22nd. I got up and went down for breakfast. I had cereal and a banana. Gail and I decided to go for a walk now down the streets of Chicago. He was listening to musics, as she always did, and me still thinking about that dream. We finished walking and go back home.I went to our backyard to pass time. I'm waiting for afternoon to go to the beach. I laid down the soft  green grass and closed my eyes. I took a nap. I woke up and saw it's past 2. I got up and showered. Changed to my  clothes and headed there.

"Hey Ace" I was greeted by Niall.

"Oh hey"

"You seemed.. sad" Niall said and frowned.

"I'm okay" I tried to convince him.

"Is it about that dream again?"

"Yeah" Sigh.

"Don't worry about that, it won't happen, I won't leave you"

I looked up at him, looking at the sky. "Promise?"

He looked down at me "Promise" He said smiling at me. He held out his pinky and I did what it is to be. A pinky promise. I do believe that never to break a pinky promise.

He pulled out something from his pocket then showed me a beautiful yet cute 'friendship' bracelets because it reads there "FOREVER" I said. Yes, it's in capital letters. (Bracelet on the side. It's just simple, but reads 'FOREVER')

"I  promised you. Forever bestfriends?" He said giving me the other bracelet. I wore it.

"Bestfriends. Forever" I said grinning happily at him.

"Now you won't think about that dream again, okay?"

"Never again" I said truly cause he made promise to me that he won't leave me. 

I hugged him, he hugged me back. "I guess we should get back home, it's starting to get dark" He said looking at the sky. (Again. Lol)

"I guess we should get back to our house. Mom bought some poptarts yesterday"

We finished eating poptarts and I walked him back to their house and got home then. Mom greeted me as she came home. I didn't eat dinner tho because Niall and I ate many poptarts awhile ago. I continued to my room laid on my bed. Dad just comes home evry Sunday, it's Saturday today so he'll be home tomorow. Sigh. Mom have another meeting tomorrow, Gail will go shopping with Camille, Bianca and Aira tomorrow, even their just 12, so it'll be me and dad home tomorrow, just the two of us. Awkward cause I barely talk to him.

I and dad are just here today. We had a little convo. that afternoon about his work my school, my grades, my friends and me. Wow why does he asked me about my life? When does he even care about us? Nah.

Dad made me go upstairs to sleep. School tomorrow. Gail came home at 8, mom came home at 9 p.m. I didn't do anything this day. I wish I had a phone so I can call Niall. Okay. I really wanted to sleep now but I can't. Then, sleep took over me.
