His brown hair flew into his face with the wind encompassing him.

Ty had come to save me?

Ty had come to save me.

Ty had come to save me!

I did the sign of cross and gave Ty a scared smile.

He winked back and took a step closer.

"So you must be the other kid. Tell me your name and age."

One of the two young adults stepped out from behind and looked Ty straight in the eye.

"My name is Tyler. I am 13 years old."

Ty gulped in between the words and looked a little scared, but at the same time brave.

"Double the fun! These two wimps will be out in no time. Brandon, take on the girl! I'll confront the boy."

The other guy known as Brandon, stepped out and came to face me.

"Too easy, darling. Just to easy."

The mans eyes turned a dark reddish color and he curled his hands into fists.

He lunged at me and i side stepped him.

I giggled a little, but then realized that it would be much more harder than this.

The man got off of the ground and drooled a infuriated breath.

"Do not fight me, beautiful girl, but the vamp will be so proud." He said it as if he was talking to himself.

He stood on his two feet and pushed me onto the ground.

A tear dripped down my face.

The man came over and picked me up by my feet.

"Ty!!!!"

I looked over at Ty to see him in victory with the other man on the ground passed out.

He looked over at me and ran towards us.

He jumped onto the mans back and Brandon yelped.

Ty tackled him to the ground until he to was blanked out.

I got off of the ground and gave Ty a hug.

He held my chin up and made me look directly in his eyes.

"It's okay. I will never stop protecting you."

Tears slid down my eyes and I asked,

"Why were they after us."

Ty looked the other way for a minute trying to collect his thoughts.

"The vamp wants are blood. He is going to send out more people to find you."

I swallowed and then every thing was quite.

I fell into his arms.

Ty carried me to my room and took me through the window.

He put the covers over me and then left with a wave goodby.

I fell asleep.
