I walked into the kitchen to find Arianna feeding Xavier. Arianna looked tired and Xavier looked like he was having the time of his life. The whole kitchen was a mess. There was baby food on the table, on the sink, on the kitchen counter.
Arianna had stains of baby food on her clothes.
Xavier was smiling playing with a spoon fool of baby food.
"Need some help?" I asked Arianna.
"Damon!" she breathed 'This little boy is driving me crazy!"
I laughed "Xavier why you bothing your momma?"
Arianna sighed "I've been trying to get him to eat for an hour!"
I laughed again. Xavier looked so adorable covered in baby food.
"let me help" i said and started to play peek a boo with Xavier. Everytime he laughed Arianna put a spoon full of baby food into his mouth.
This way we got him to finish breakfast.
Arianna sighed " I need to give Xavier a bath, then I need to bath and I have to clean all this up"
"Its ok you go clean Xavier, I'll clean this" I volunteered.
'Oh no, I'll do it. You don't have to-" she began but I cut her off.
"No arguments. You look like you haven't slept for days!"
"Yeah well Xavier didn't let me sleep much last night" she yawned.
"You go give Xavier a bath while I clean this up!"
"Ok" she said and took Xavier upstairs.
When she returned with Xavier I had cleaned the whole kitchen.
"Wow the place looks great" Arianna smiled.
"Now you give Xavier to me and go take a shower" I told her.
"Thats a good idea!" she said looking at herself
She handed Xavier to me "Mom's in the backyard if you need anything" she said and walked up the stairs.
I started to sing to Xavier who slowly drifted off to sleep.

When i returned from my shower Xavier was sleeping in Damon's arms. They looked so cute.
'Here take him upstairs and put him to bed" Damo0n instructed in a whisper " And you do the same"
I smiled and took Xavier upstairs. I carefully put him in his crib and climbed into my own bed. It wasn' long before I drifted off onto a deep sleep.
I only woke up when my phone started to ring.
"Helle?" I answered.
"Hey" Elle said on the other end.
"Yeah Elle whats up?" I asked.
"There's been an emergancy, my sister is reallty sick and I need you to cover my shift today. I know its a lot to ask but. im desperate."
"Ok" i agreed "Be there in ten minutes"
I quickly changed into a t-shirt and jeans and headed downstairs. Mom was sitting on the kitchen table having a cup of coffee.
"hey hone where you off to?" she asked.
"Work!" I replied."Watch Xavier for me?"
Mom rolled her eyes "Do you have to ask?"
"Ma?'"
"Yeah?
"I love you and thanks" i said and ran out to my car.

A few hours later I parked my car on the side walk and wondered what to do. I had finished work and was on my way back when the car broke down. Crap.
"Need a lift?" I turned to see Keith. He was in his balck porsche.
I hesitated and he said "Come on we're going to the same place anyway"
I nodded and took is offer and they drove off.
"Xavier is very cute" Keith stated.
"Yeah" I smiled thinking abou my son who was waiting for me at home.
"Is , uh, Damon the father?" he asked.
"No" i said quickly. A lot of people had been asking me that question lately . There had been a rumor in the school that Xavier was Damon's child and I was his long lost girlfriend.
"Is he your boyfriend?"
"No" i said.
Keith smiled as he parked into our driveway.
"Would you like to come in for coffee?" i asked kindly.
"No thanks. Maybe some other time"
"Ok"
