Hey guys, sorry about this taking a really long time :/ I've been having major writers block and loads of homework x of course that's no excuse. Sorry it's so short! And yet again I'm not telling you who it is... :)

Chapter Eight

Unknown POV

I was staring again, seeing her sitting on the sofa like she owned the place. Her pack was around her of course, and the humans stayed clear of them.

I looked over the club, watching the blissfully unaware humans dance like there was no tomorrow. Some of them looked around, feeling my stare. They wouldn’t see me though. No one could see me. I was invisible to the human eye, and the wolves’.

My attention was drawn back to the wolves as I saw Aria’s beta stand up, her eyes narrowing as she spotted someone in the crowd.

I stalked forward, nearing the edge of the crown where the humans split off with the wolves.

Jase, I think that was his name, stalked forward.

I instantly knew what he was there to do; despite his tough exterior, and how he treated Aria, I could tell he cared about her. If his intention was to warn the young Alpha female about what was to come, he had something else coming to him. Did he really think we would stand by; trust him with the task at hand? We had to keep an eye on him, and it seemed we were right to.

It was obvious Jase was no longer welcome on their territory. I could see a flicker of something in Aria’s eyes, an emotion that betrayed her harsh exterior. Was it betrayal?

I had to remind myself frequently that she was nothing but a monster, there could only be animosity and hate.

My attention was drawn back to the scene before me as Jase left the club, shoulders hunched and head hung low. His eyes flickered in my direction, sensing something amiss in the crowd of dancers. For all he could see though, there was nothing but thin air where I stood.

It wasn’t too long after that that three shots arrived at Aria’s table. I smirked. Her eyes drifted over where I hid in full view and my skin involuntary tingled.

I had to remember what I’d set out to do.

My eyes narrowed at Aria, it wouldn’t be long now. Yet, my mind started to question what had been asked of me. My brain was telling me to do it but my heart ached at the prospect. What was happening to me?

Sorry it's so short. I will try and upload again soon xx hope you liked it. VOTE AND COMMENT PLEASE!
