Chapter Eighteen

I waited for the explosion, but it never came. I think Max was to shocked to realise what had happened he just blinked,

“Erin what the hell!?” I looked at Max and I saw him grin, “Max… are you okay?” I was worried, Erin had slapped me once before and for a small person she had a very strong arm. I started worrying maybe she had done something to his head, “I swear to god Erin if you have hurt him I will never make to brownies again!” Erin gasped and any smile left on her face disappeared, “Max…. Max are you okay?” Max started laughing and I turned to Erin, “Great you broke him!” I was about to kill Erin when Max spoke,

“You know what Erin, I think that we are going to get along just fine. I’ll see you later babe and if you see Luke today say hi for me.” I was shocked, how did he know I had been seeing Luke? And of course like he was reading my mind he answered, “Sometimes you seem to forget that I am the further Alpha, Luke is a rogue and my brother so I kind of have to keep tabs on him, also I can tell when you’re with a male that doesn’t have a mate.” With that he gave me a short and sweet kiss while I was still speechless and left the room.

“Well he is something.” Erin laughed and looped her arms though mine, “Now I would like to meet this Luke fellow him seems just my type.” Coming out of my daze I laughed with her,

“Erin you don’t have a type.” I rolled my eyes at her while she gave me a hurt look,

“What of course I do! I like weak and strange boys with flaws do you not know me at all?” She faked hurt and I laughed at her. It was true Erin did date some very strange guys, basically if they were clumsy and had some sort of problem she was there to help.

Walking back to her room I told her to get freshened up and meet me in my room when she was done. After she agreed and went to take a shower I went to my room and did the same, I loved the feeling of hot water on my skin. I was just washing the shampoo out of my hair when there was a knock on my bathroom door,

“Um… Who is it?” What else do you say in these situations?

“Autumn, um yeah it’s me.” I stood up a little straighter and my wolf purred,

“Oh hey Max can you give me a second, I will just get out of the shower.” I come feel the arousal of his wolf coming in waves through the door.

I quickly got out of the shower and grabbed my white fluffy towel. Wrapping it around myself I opened the door and saw Max sitting on my bed, I swallowed as I saw he was still shirtless. Feeling my eyes of him he looked up at me a nervous smile on his lips. He patted the spot next to him and I went and sat down.

‘Hey what’s up?” I gave him my easiest smile hoping I didn’t look as nervous as I was. Max looked down at his hands,

“On a scale of one to ten how angry are you with me?” I looked at him in surprised, Max had a hurt and lust written all over his face.

“What? Why would I be angry?” I so confused I forgot to hold my towel up and it dropped to pool at my waist. Both Max and I looked down at my naked torso at the same time. I saw Max wolf surface and before I could do anything he was on top of me pinning my arms above my head.

I wiggled trying to get away from him, but my will power could only last so much. Grabbing both my hands in one of his Max trailed his hand across my chest and that was all my will power gone. I moan in need and want and wrapped my legs around Max’s waist,

“I am going to Mark you Autumn, I know that you don’t want to mate but I will Mark you.” He looked deeply into my eyes as if asking for permission. Removing one of my hands from his grasp I pulled his head down to mine. At first the kiss was lightly but it quickly grew hot with lust, need and love.

Max’s tongue explored my mouth while I ran my hand throw his hair and alone his neck. I thrust my pelvis up at him and wrapped my legs around him tighter so I could bring him even closer.

While I did this Max made a trail of kisses from my lips, across my jaw, down my neck and to the soft skin in-between my neck and shoulder. I moaned loudly and Max smiled against my skin he nipped and sucked all along my neck and I pulled him till there was nothing left between us and our skin touched. His hand continued to roam my chest and as he rubbed and pulled I felt his canines come out.

They scrapped slightly on my secretive skin and I whispered out his name, he kissed my weak spot before biting down hard. I screamed in pain, love and pleasure while Max held me and whispered soothing things in my ear,

“It’s alright babe I got you, you’re alright, I will never let anyone hurt you” He pulled me so that I was lying in his arms, my naked torso pressed tightly into his side. I saw just how excited he was and couldn’t help but giggle. He looked down and I could have sworn I saw him blush,

“I am so sorry if you didn’t want this, I just lost control you’re so beautiful.” I couldn’t help the blush that appeared on my checks. I turned and looked up at him resting my chin on his chest,

“I’m not mad or angry I am just so…” Max winced bracing himself for the worst, “happy.” I smiled at him lovingly and I felt him relax. I really did have this little wolf wrapped around my finger.

“Okay well the thing is you do know that we need to, you know… mate before tomorrow sunset otherwise you’ll start going through heat…” I sighed and kept looking at him.

It was true that if we didn’t mate in the next day I would start going through heat and from what I had heard it was hell. You were always aroused and all males without mates tried to take you even if they didn’t want to, also sometimes they have been so rough that the women end up hurt or worse dead.

“I know and I would right now…” I said as I ran my hands along his bare chest and he moaned, “but I promised that I would go out with Erin tonight and I can’t really do that if you know, were mating.” I looked at him closely to see how he would take this. I saw hurt but I also knew he would understand. That was the brilliant thing about Max he always understood.

We lay together for a few more minutes till I left to go take another shower. When I came out I rested on the door frame and watched my sleeping mate.

Isn’t he gorgeous?

I smiled happily with my wolf, yes he sure is.
