Pregnant With the Player

Chapter Twenty-Five.

Emilee's POV

"Where would you like this, ma'am?" the moving guy asked while holding the coffee table.

"Oh, just right there in the middle of the main room, thanks."

Josh came into the room and wrapped his arms around me.

"So this is where we're living from now on, together. Good luck 'cause I snore," I chuckled.

"Your snoring is cute," Josh complimented.

"Then we'll get along."

The moving guys were done and Josh paid them.

"Finally it's not empty anymore," I puffed.

"I know," Josh agreed.

We walked around the apartment. "What do we do now?"

"I don't know, but I have work tomorrow, maybe we should ivite friends and family over so they can check out the apartment," Josh suggested.

"That's a good idea, I'll go and call people right now," I said as I quickly kissed Josh.

I made a few calls and soon enough, many people were here.

My parents, Josh's parents, Dylan, Haley, Chris, Mike, Bethany, Isabella, Amanda, Dana, Owen, Darren, Katy, Derek, Nathan and Jimmy. Katy, Derek, Nathan and Jimmy are Josh's cousins.

"I like it," Dana complimented as she was finished looking around.

"Thanks, Dana."

"No problem, now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to visit little Bella."

I chuckled as Dana left and headed towards Beth in the kitchen.

"My little girl is growing up so fast!" Mom smiled weakly.

"And your little girl is having a baby so yeah."

"And I can't wait to be a grandma, I love children, that's why I had four," Mom told me.

"Melissa should have had a child a year ago or something."

"I know, I really wanted her to but she refused. She's not even married yet. I was married at the age of nineteen!"

"I'm not either," I said innocently.

"Yes but you're making me a grandma so that makes up for it. For now. Plus, you're only eighteen."

I chuckled.

Everyone left after hours. However, it was nice having every family member here.

I was in the doorway of my little angel's nursery.

I heard light breathing behind me. "Half way," I muttered.

"Hmm?" Josh asked as he lightly kissed my neck whoch made me shiver.

"I'm halfway done with my pregnancy."

"Four and a half more months," Josh told me.

"I know, it's scary."

"You'll be a great mom."

"No, I don't have much experience with children, Isabella cries whenever I hold her!"

"Because little Bella knows her mom and our little whatever her name will be knows her parents."

I turned around. "I'm tired of arguing so I'll agree he's a girl. I mean she," I winked.

"I just have a feeling she's a girl."

"What do you want for dinner?" I changed the subject.

"You," Josh winked.

"You can have me, in a year."

"But that's so far away," he frowned.

I was laughing soon enough, he joined me. "I love you," I said in between laughs.

"I'll love you forever and always, my beautiful love."

Haley's POV

"Do you like their apartment?" Chris asked me.

"Yes, it is nice."

"What's wrong?"

"What do you mean? Everything is fine."

"No, it's not. You don't seem like yourself. Is something bothering you?" Chris asked, but kept his eyes on the road the whole time.

"It's nothing."

"You can tell me."

"I don't know what to tell you," I said firmly.

"Tell me what's bothering you and I'll fix it."

"You can't fix it because there's nothing to fix," I backfired.

"Just tell me when you're ready."

The rest of the ten minute drive home was silent.

"Bye," I said as I got out of Chris' car.

"I love you," he shouted as I closed the door and went inside.

I ate dinner, did dishes, showered, then went to bed.

Emilee's POV

I  opened my eyes. All I could hear was chitter-chatter.

I got out of bed and walked towards the main room, where it came from.

As I got closer, the noises became louder.

I looked over and saw Josh and Chris were talking, phew.

"Hey, Emilee," Chris waved.

I smiled. "Hey."

I walked over to Josh. He got up and hugged me.

"What were you two talking about? If you don't mind me asking."

"Oh, I think Haley is mad at me," Chris answered.

"Why? You two are perfect for each other," I told Chris.

"I know but she wasn't being herself when we drove home and all."

"Oh, I'll go and  call her now, if you'd like," I offered.

"I already called her nine times, she just won't answer."

"She'll answer me."

I went to my room and took my phone. I saw I had four missed phone calls, all from Haley. Hm...

I was just about to call when my phone rang. My phone said; Haley.

"Hello?"

"Have you been ignoring me?!" Haley nearly shouted.

"No,of course not. I was asleep. Have you been ignoring Chris?"

"No, I have the same excuse as you," Haley chuckled. "Wait, how-"

"Chris is here," I cut her off. "Are you mad at him?"

"No, I'm coming over."

Haley hung up.

I walked back to the main room. "I'm going take a shower, Haley's coming over."

"Okay, thanks."

I heard a knock on the door. I raced Josh over to answer it.

"Haley!" I hugged her.

"You're hair is wet."

"I just had a shower."

"I noticed."

"Come in!" I smiled.

Haley walked in and smiled at Chris.

She sat next to him, but not cuddling like they usually would.

Josh and I sat down as well.

"Emilee, I promise we'll be home for the Christmas vacations so we can be there when the baby is born," Chris told me.

I opened my mouth but Haley beat me. "That's what was wrong yesterday. I'm so sorry I lied to you, Chris."

"It's okay," Chris hugged her.

"What about what Chris said?" Josh asked.

"I..." Haley turned to Chris. "Screw university! I want to get married before and not let it be a hurry and have it done before school, I want to take my time. We can always go again next year and wait this year."

Chris' face was blank. Expressionless. It was quiet for a bit.

"That's an amazing idea!" Chris kissed Haley.

I smiled like an idiot.

"My mom asked if I was pregnant, because I'm getting married so young," Haley said.

"You're not, are you!?" Chris was a bit nervous.

Haley chuckled. "No, I'm not."

"Good."

"Crap, I  have to go to work. I love you, Emilee," Josh said and kissed me.

"I love you too, call me during your break."

Josh left and it was just me, Haley and Chris.

"You guys are welcomed to stay the whole day," I told them.

"You're just saying that because you don't want to be all alone."

"Part of that is true," I admitted.

So the rest of the day, it was Haley, Chris and I talking about our future. And then we all baked a cake before Josh came home.

It was two teared, one being chocolate and the other being vanilla. We were going to decorate it when Josh was back.

The door opened. Chris, Haley and I were all eating the leftover batter. I jumped up and ran over to Josh who looked at us as if we had fourteen eyes.

"Come here!" I led Jsoh  into the kitchen, but covered his eyes with my hands. I freed my arms and Josh's mouth hung open.

"Let's decorate!" Chris and Haley yelled as they raced over to the cake and began putting a lot of whip cream on the cake.

It was bottled whip cream so I sprayed it in everyone's face.

"Emilee Marie Pearson!" Haley yelled.

Then I felt whip cream over my face.

"Jerk!" I yelled at Chris.

Then Josh sprayed his face.

Once we were done our whip cream war, we ate cake.

"This is so bad!" I laughed.

"Agreed."

We cleaned up and had a sleepover.

"You guys are my best friends, I love you," I said as I almost fell asleep in Josh's arms.
