A quiet alarm went off. I immediately shut it off. I glanced at Louis, who had not stirred. His arm was wrapped around me and his legs were intertwined with mine. Gently, I removed his arm. I unraveled our legs.

Standing, my knees buckled and I grabbed the closet door to keep from falling. Damn, Louis.

"Addie?" Louis whispered.

"Yeah?" I asked, trying not to fall.

"Are you okay?"

"Yup," I said, trying to regain feeling in my legs. "I am in pain."

"Sorry," he said, standing with ease.

Fuck you, Louis. Fuck me. Oh wait.....

"I'm just going to the bathroom," I whispered.

He wrapped an arm around me and I leaned on him down the hallway to go to the restroom. He tossed my clothes inside the door.

"I'm going back to sleep, babe," he whispered.

"I love you," I whispered painfully.

"I'll see you in the morning, love."

"Yeah." Lies.

"Night."

"I love you," I said.

"I love you too. Good night, dear." And he left.

"Why are you recovering?" he asks.

"HAHAHA, about that..."

"Addie?!" he warns.

"Look, we only had sex one time!"

"Sex! That wasn't part of the plan!"

"I had one day!" I yelled.

There was a moment of silence.

"Was it Liam?"

"Louis."

More silence.

"I love you, Addie," he whispered.

"I love you too."

"Are you crying?"

"No," I lied.

"Did you break their hearts?"

"I think so," I nodded, wiping tears away.

"Addie, someone needed to teach them a lesson."

"Why did that person have to be me?"

"I'm sorry," he said. "They can't trample on everyone they meet. They're too trusting, yet they hide things from each other."

"But I really liked them, even if it wasn't in a romantic way."

We finished our ride in silence, and I stopped crying. After high school, I wanted to quit my player ways. But my brother had one more request and after loads of persuasion, I broke. I helped him finish his own dirty work and make the boys pay. I broke my own heart in the process. But I barely had one. After all, I had to get
