"Just a little" i said quietly

"Don't be! you and Bella will do fantastic. And i just found out more fantastic news"

"their postponing it for another week" i half joked half serious

"Haha fraid not. But the good news is, they have offered purse!"

"Thats amazing! how much is it?" i asked curiously

" $15,000 dollars! and also!"

"More good news! how can this get any better" i started to feel butterflies and happiness well up inside me.

" The winner of this Trial, gets to go on to the Derby free of entry fee! thats $50,000 dollars we don't have to pay!. But one catch is that we still have to pay for the stabling and track usage fees, vetanarian fees and farrier fees which is going to be $9,500 or more"

"Ouch! that is a big catch but it'll be worth it won't it?"

"Well sure! if we win the Blue Grass Stakes April 23rd" said kurt

"Yeah, lets hope we atleast win this one" i joked sarcasticly. Before i knew it, it was already 11:25 am, a nervous rush came over me and i felt the urge to go see Bella and stay with her for the whole time until the Trials. After kurt and i finished our conversation i realised Jesse and Lucy weren't around anymore, i walked to the Barns and saw a quick glimpse of someone it was Jesse holding Lucy's hand and pulling her around the back of the barn. I quickly jogged to the side of the barn to get a better ear on things, I heard a hard thud and i peered my head around the corner to see what was going on and i saw Lucy's hands on Jesse chest holding him against the back barn wall,

"She can't know about this Jesse!" Lucy quietly yelled

" I know, i know! but how long do you thing we'll be able to hide this?"

"As long as we want. But its all coming to an end soon anyway, so just act normal will ya"

What did all that mean "she can't know about this" whats "this"? mean, i felt an urge to cry out loud but kept my cool, i was more sad about Lucy my best friend since Kindergarten. Would she really do something like this to me? after all these years?, I thought to myself should i jump to conclusions? or just find out what they were up to, though Jesse was acting weird around me when Lucy showed up, so many bad thoughts were swirling around in my head but i had to stop thinking about Jesse and Lucy and start focusing on Bella. I heard the horses whinning as their grooms came to care for them, i was the owner, groom and rider i felt great pressure on me as we got closer and closer to the moment i've waited for.
