Ashton: "Who are you going with again?" You asked your 15 year old daughter as she threw clothes behind her back. Laying on her bed, you watched her room become another closet. "Ugh, just a few friends from school." She huffed, holding up a shirt that still had the tags on. "You sure you're gonna be okay? Who's picking you up?" You asked out of concern for your teenage daughter. It was Friday night and she just told you about her plans to go to some party a town over with a few girls in her grade. Since it was such short notice, you were a bit uneasy about it, but then again she's a 15 year old girl who needs to spend time with her friends considering it’s only the two of you. You had her at the age of 18 with the hopes of staying with her father, but nothing ever goes as planned. So here you were, a 33 year old single mother. "Taylor's dad is picking me up ya know.." She said ever so causally, walking to her bed with a pair of jeans in her hand and a black shirt. "Okay? That's good." You said, well it sounded more like a question, "You should ask him out or something, he's really cute and I heard he likes you." She said with a smirk. "Are you really trying to play matchmaker right now?" You asked, trying to cover up your smile. How could you not blush when hearing that one of the most attractive guys in town finds you attractive as well or that he likes you. - An hour later -  "Mom, Ashton is outside. Walk me to the car, please." Your daughter suggested holding open the front door, you obliged putting on a pair of flip flops. You waved to Taylor and said goodbye to your daughter who quickly ran to the car. Ashton got out the car and smiled at you which caused you to get butterflies and made your heart drop. "Hi," he said quietly walking towards your front door. "Hi, how are you? Haven't seen you since Taylor's birthday." You said with open arms and he stepped forward, wrapping his arms around you. "I know, it's a crime that it’s been so long." Ashton said pulling away, a dimpled filled smile on his face. "But the girls will be fine tonight. If it’s okay with you and Y/D/N, she can spend the night and I can drop her off in the morning." He said sweetly, while your eyes never left each others. You nodded your head as you became speechless looking into his eyes. It felt like you were both teenagers and your parents were watching you from the car. "Look, I uh, I know this might be weird considering our daughters are best friends, but would you like to go out for coffee this week? It's okay if you don't want to, I just think you're really beautiful and I'd love to get to know you better." He became flustered, his eyes meeting the ground. You blushed madly and bit your lip as you shook your head, "Yeah that would be great actually." He lifted up his face with a great smile, "Okay, great." He said excitedly, but seconds later two voices from the car were yelling "C'mon two love birds, we have to go!". "I should probably get going, but I'll see you soon." Ashton said leaning in to kiss you on the cheek. You both waved as the car drove off.

Luke: "So, how long have you guys been dating?" Gemma asked, picking the cheese off her pizza. "Like a year maybe? Who knows maybe more." Leslie, your 16 year old daughter adds in. See, a couple years ago you divorced Leslie's father who was utterly terrible for you and your daughter. Once you moved from your hometown, Leslie met Gemma. The two clicked instantly, acting more like sisters rather than best friends. Then you met Luke, Gemma's father. After the two girls harassed you and Luke, you finally went on a date, ever since then you both couldn't be happier...or in love. "Why do you ask?" Luke smirked, his arms tightening around your waist. Gemma shrugged, "I don't know? I and Les were talking and we think..." She trailed off fiddling with her fingers, a huge smile growing on her face. "Wethinkweshouldlivetogether." Leslie spilled, covering her mouth. "Well," Luke started, keeping you close. "That's why we wanted to spend the day together." He said looking at you to continue, "We've been talking and we think that we should move in together, of course if it’s okay with you girls." You said sweetly, looking at both girls and Luke. "Of course it's okay with us! More than okay, are you guys serious? Yes!" Leslie said excitedly, grabbing into Gemma's arm. Even though you knew both girls wanted this just as much as you and Luke, you were a bit nervous. But seeing how they reacted to your news, the last thing you were feeling was nervous. A few months later, the four of you finally moved in together and things couldn't be better. You and Luke are now engaged and are planning a wedding for next spring.

Calum: "Y/N, you should just talk to him, I mean he's been staring at you the entire night." One of your good friends said, well practically yelled over the music. Tonight was your monthly 'girl’s night out' and so far you and your friends were having an amazing time. You needed this stress free night considering every other day was filled with dealing with your 5 year old daughter...alone, and your job. You deserved it. Now, a few drinks later your friends were in your ear telling you to go talk to the cute guy across the bar. "I don't think I should, what if he's not interested?" You said nervously, "You're joking right?" Your friend Tess said, giggling, the alcohol hitting her. "Look at you! You look amazing, he'd be a fool not to be interested. Plus he HAS been staring at you all night.. I say go for it." She nudged your shoulder, pushing you towards his direction. Once you were finally up and walking towards him, he got up and met you half way. "Wow," he says with a smile on his face, "H-hi, I'm Calum." He held out his hand which you took in yours. "I'm Y/N, nice to meet you." After that, he bought you a few drinks as you both got to know each other better. At the end of the night, you were both quite fond of each other to say the least, so you exchanged numbers and went your separate ways. The next morning at your daughter’s school, there was a fundraiser which you couldn't miss because she's been talking about it for months now. You said hello to her teachers and a few of the parents there. "Mommy this is Kylie, she's my best friend." Your daughter said holding a little girls hand, "Hi sweetheart." You said kneeling down in front of the two. "Daddy!" She yelled, looking behind you. You stood up and turned around only to see, Calum, the guy you met last night.

Michael: "What do you think they'd say? Hmm? We're bad parents for sneaking around?" Your words were slurring, say thanks to the third glass of wine you drank. Tonight you were at Michael's, sneaking around yet again. Maybe it would be easier if your daughters weren't best friends, but that's not the case. You and Michael have been dating for a couple months and so far were able to keep it between just the two of you. Of course when he'd sneak out, his 14 year old daughter Jade would ask where he was going, same for you. Your daughter Lucy would ask nonstop. Each time you made some ridiculous excuse, but honestly it was getting tiring. Michael pulled you closer to his chest, giving you a chaste kiss on the lips "I think we should tell them. Who knows maybe this could all work out." Before you were slightly against telling Lucy about Michael, but right now you were all for it. Maybe because you were growing tired of it or maybe it was the alcohol.. Whatever it was, you wanted to tell them. "I know I want to spend the rest of my life with you, cliché as it sounds." He chuckled, "And I know you feel the same. Plus, Jade always comes home raving about you. If you ask me, I think we're perfect for each other." Michael kissed your cheek and you giggled, "Perfect you say?" He nodded his head, "Per-fect baby, just like you." You bit your lip and nodded your head in agreement, "Okay, let's tell them." The next morning, you woke up early enough to make breakfast for Lucy and Jade, seeing as how she spent the night. Michael agreed to come over in the morning so you could both share the news. Once he arrived, you all sat down at the table and told the girls what has been going on. At first they were upset that you kept it a secret for so long, but were excited and happy for the two of you.
