*Flash forward*

My pace gains speed by the minute, but the road doesn't allow me to move forward as it glides under my feet like a tradmail.

I can't help but constantly turn my head towards the source of danger behind me. The one whom I've been running from.

As I turn my head one more time I see him coming at me. He's closing in.

In contrast to me, he's not perked by exhaustion or woundings. Everything hurts and I can barely move. Though, I need to try, cause if he catches up my wounds will never heal and I'm sure I'll never see my loved one again.

I look back one more time.

He's not there.

Where did he go? My head swings in all directions looking for hatred himself, while I keep running. He can't be gone.

I look around. I'm in the desert. A remoted path between seas of sand is all that's around me. The sky doesn't contain anything more than the sun. No clouds providing me shadow and still it's neither hot, nor cold.

How can he be gone? There are no spots to hide, no bushes or trees to crawl behind. Nothing that will keep me from seeing him, but still he managed to dissapear from my sight. That calls for a more urgent question: Am I out of his'?

I can't see him, but can he see me? I don't know. All I can do is get out of here. Run.

My fast pace never slowed, but my surroundings never gave an indication that I'm moving. I'm not going forward. I stay in place.

I know he will never stop chasing me. He wants me dead, but the feeling is mutual.

He's still out there, just not for me to see.

I turn my head one more time only to confirm he is truly not there and all I see is nothing. No sign of him.

I look back in front of me and I jump back out of shock and my breathing gets uneven. A mix of exhaustion and fright collapses on my lungs and I need to regain my ballance from falling backwards.

Before me stands the one I have been trying to run away from, the one I dreaded to run into most. Geoff.

How did he get there? He was no where to be seen, the enviorment was remoted. I've seen it, I'm sure!

"Where do you think you're going?" His voice sends chills down my spine and lets nerves run through every vein placed in my body.

I don't say anything, not to him, not after all he did.

"Ignoring me now?" He asks in a sinister tone.

I stay quiet.

"Well, then let me ignore you when you beg to stay alive." My eyes grow big as I see him pull a gun out of the inside of his jacket. He is serious.

He looks at it with a venomy grin and then slowly poins it at me. At this moment I completely paralyze, unable to move a muscle, unable to even blink. Not even able to beg for mercy.

My breath turns into short gasps as my gaze stays focused on the guns end.

Thinking this is the last image I will ever get to see off the world, I close my eyes.

I wait. I know this is it.

"No!" Someone screams. "No!" Someone screams again. I recognize the voice. It's Louis! He came to save me?

I quickly open my eyes, but what I see is not at all what I expected.

In front of me now stands Louis, Geoff is nowhere to be seen. And Louis now has the gun, still pointing on me.
