"for the nameless book i assigned you last week, is everyone past page 214?" she asks
i nod and the majority of the students said something on the lines of 'eh, almost'
"well then, share out your summary for the chapters you did read" she says anyway
"with the exception of calum of course, can you catch him up? since you probably went ahead" she smiles at me. i nod and stand up to get a spare copy of the book.
i hand him the 521 paged book and stand next to him. theres roughly about 10 pages in each chapter.
"just read up to page 417, thats the next time she'll check on our progress of the book" i mutter to him
he nods and opens the book and starts reading. his brown chocolaty eyes scanning each word on the page. i never noticed how brown his eyes were, that sounds weird. theyre pretty. while my eyes are cold and black. i mentally sigh, not wanting to get his attention.
i open up the book to my book mark.
