Chapter 5 Shopping trip

Ellena POV

When we got there of course Alec parked in the underground lot, we took off up the stairs to the Mall on the outskirts of Volterra.  “So where are you taking us first” Jasmine asked curiously Heidi and Chelsea looked at us smirking. “We are taking you and Ellena to Gucci then Prada” Heidi informed Jazzy and I looked at each other wide eyed in shock the clothes in those stores were expensive “Can we afford it” I asked confusion clouding in my voice. Chelsea pulled out a platinum credit card from inside her cloak then winked at me and Jazzy smiling. “We sort of can afford to shop at Gucci and Prada and some other expensive stores” Chelsea said amused.

They literally yanked me and my sister walking at human pace to Gucci with Alec following closely behind. “Hold on, hold on why are you still here Alec” I asked inquisitively. Alec put his hand over his heart with a feigned look of hurt cascading across his perfect handsome face I tried to keep my giggles intact “I am hurt Ellena Truscott do you not want me here” “No no I didn’t mean it like that, it’s just do you really want to be shopping with girls, all we will really do is force you to carry our shopping bags” “I’m just here to give a man’s opinion that’s all, I’m pretty sure Heidi and Chelsea can carry those bags, you know vampire strength”.

Heidi came storming over to us “you two quit flirting and get moving Chelsea and Jasmine are waiting for you two” she teased us making me turn into a big red tomato as I started to blush “We were not flirting” Alec denied and by the look on her face she definitely didn’t believe him at all “hhhmmm sure well get your asses on the move before Jasmine dies of old age” she asked.  We trailed behind Heidi to where they were in the store. When we found them Chelsea had already picked out a lovely black silk knee length dress and put in the basket from the front of the store“This will really compliment your dark skin tone” .

All of a sudden I felt Heidi grab my hand and pull me a few metres with Alec on our tail “Aro doesn’t want you to wear on dark clothes so let me see what we can find… oh Alec could you be darling and get one of the baskets” Heidi said he walked at human speed to where the baskets were held and then came back she selected these clothes for me dumping them in it. “Now go try them on then we’ll go pay for them” she informed me , a look of realisation flashed across my face “how are we going to be pay for all this” a queried to her, she told me the Volturi were one of the richest vampire covens in the world. Then proceeded to shove me into the dressing room with Alec straggling behind look intrigued the handing me dresses, jeans and tops “Give us a fashion show so we can see what it looks like” Heidi instructed firmly. Each time I came out in the six other outfits Alec would smile with unrecognisable look in his eyes.
