The blood poured down my face. I didn't know where it came from. All I knew was that I needed to run. I gripped his arm, and he pulled me along. He looked back at me, quickly, then pressed his lips against mine. I was stunned, and stumbled for a second, before he pulled back and lifted me into his arms, then continued running. I hear sounds around me, and people shouting, but I couldn't find myself to care. I buried my face into his chest, and waited for the horror to end.
