“Feel that Spark Yet?” he coos sensually, his eyes locked on mine. My lips are still on fire and as much as I hate to admit it. He’s a great—no, dynamic kisser and as for his question. Did I feel sparks—fireworks? …Like midnight on the fourth of July.  But that’s more than I’d like or will ever admit to him.

“No.” I lie, as straight faced as possible.

He chuckles lightly and returns to his sitting position. He looks up at my standing figure deep into my eyes “You have to be the worst liar ever.”

I fold my arms over my chest and clench my jaw. “You have to be the most cocky, pretentious, dickheaded kid I’ve ever come face to face with and that's saying something because I met the Olsen Twins!” I yell out of anger at his attitude.

“I resent that, I’m not a kid and don’t you mean lips to lips?” I groan out of annoyance and rub my face with my hands.

“You know, you make it too obvious that you’re attracted to me.” I instantly look down at him. He is so cocky…I wish there was a way to knock him down a notch.

“Just admit it; you want me more than Alex. I’m good looking, talented and charming.”

“Says who? The ones you have had sex with and thrown to the side? The ones who you’ve broken or your loving parents who plan to ride your coattails for the next fifty years? That doesn’t make you charming Jacob, it makes you a player. Charming means that I’d want to cuddle with you not have sex with you. Share a life, not a cigarette, get married too…not regret.” I explain, pouring my heart’s thoughts out to him. His face looks a bit stunned and a tad remorseful.

He stands up and approaches me. A gasp escapes my lips when he places a finger on my cheek and begins to gently stroke it.

He brings his lips to my ears and breathes softly on it, sending a tingling feeling down my neck. “You’re right, I’m a pig.” He whispers. He removes himself from my ear and looks me in the eyes, his—shining like the moon.

“You would never date someone like me.” he continues, grabbing me by the waist and pressing our bodies together. “Because, quite frankly—” he uses his finger tips to tilt my head up to him and lowers his lips. As much as I want to fight him off—I can’t. I’m paralyzed, by his words, his looks, his eyes.

“Quite frankly, you don’t deserve it.” he scolds, chuckling briskly. He lets my head drop and moves backwards with his hands in his pockets. Just…smirking at me.

“You are such an asshole.” I spit with vigor towards him. He shrugs his shoulders and licks his lips.

“You say asshole, I say charm. Maybe you’re still dizzy from it but in case you didn’t notice, you didn’t exactly move away when I wrapped my hands around you tightly and moved in close. So I win that argument, I do have charm Mr. Harris and if I started competing for you against Alex, you’d be making me a sandwich after a wild and eventful night at my place in a couple of hours.” I poke the inside of my cheek with my tongue in anger; trying to contain my words…this is PG-13 after all.
