5. Demon

Yuu and Yoichi still haven't waken up. It's been almost an hour since Kimizuki completed his contract...

I bite my lip, concerned as Ayato's voice pops into my head.

'Well ain't we hard at work.'

'This isn't the time to be joking around. If one of those locked away demons recognize me, I swear I'm going to kill everyone in this room.'

'Now, Ferid wouldn't approve of your behavior.'

'Because what Ferid approves and disapproves of is totally something I'm interested in!*sarcastic*'

'Don't make fun of him, he's capable of some... Extremely surprising things.'

'Right...!' *scarcasm*.

I place one hand on my weapon as Yuu begins to stir.

Relief washes over my face as he sits up normally.

Kimizuki walks over to him and smirks. "Took you long enough. What were you doing? Sleeping?"

Yuu clicked his tongue, "shut up Kimizuki!"

I smiled as Yuu glanced briefly in my direction and smiled.

I begin to walk toward then as Yoichi begins to laugh wickedly.

'Curse it.'

'Haha get it? Cursed gears, curse it?'

'...' *no comment*

'I'm sorry...'

I withdrew my sword as Yoichi rised and smiled at me.

Ah. The kid just had to go and get himself possessed.

"Yuu! Kimizuki! Withdraw your weapons!" I ordered as Yoichi jumped to an inhuman height.

I bit my lip as I hoped I wouldn't be recognized by Yoichi's possessor.

"C'mon humans!" Yoichi shouted as he stood on top of a statue.

"Let us play...! Hehehe!" He cackled as I narrowed my eyes.

My how weird it sounded from Yoichi's innocent voice.

"Yuu. Kimizuki. This will be your first mission, so listen up you brats!" Guren shouted as Yoichi narrowed his eyes at Guren.

"You are to execute Yoichi for being unable to form a contract with the demon thus being possessed and causing possible future casualties if not dealt with." His voice was stone hard and I readied my sword as Yoichi's eye met mine.

'Ah- I don't think this is a good idea.'

'Shut up-'

Suddenly Yoichi charged at me cackling, and with superior speed.

There's no way I'd be able to match that speed.

Without blood.

But, taking down someone like this is an easy task.

I jumped to the side and was about to charge at Yoichi when Yuu shouted at him as Kimizuki began to approach him slowly, trying to ambush him after seeing his speed.
