CHAPTER 14 ~~LEAH~~

I gripped Klaus's heart into my hands hearing the him gasp my name as I lifted my eyes to him breathing heavy.

"You were dead...I heard your heart stop." Klaus gasped I smirked with almost a chuckle wanting to escape my throat but I wouldn't allow it.

"I guess you didn't listen hard enough..." I smiled twisting my hand deeper into his chest I couldn't believe I was doing this but I couldn't let that bother me right now.

"I guess I will have to kill you again..." he laughed I twisted my hand more in his chest and his hand on my shoulder gripped tighter shocking him.

"Awww is that anyway to treat the girl who saved Hayley? I'm doing you a favor Klaus so get out of here while you still can." I recommended Klaus shut his mouth now before looking over my shoulder seeing Tyler who was grabbing his chest.

"You expect me to walk away from what Tyler has done?" Klaus exclaimed I glanced over my shoulder to look at Tyler then returned my focus to Klaus.

"I'll handle this, Hayley is by the clearing with Elijah." I suggested pulling my hand free from his chest cavity and he hybrid sped away from both Tyler and I. I turned my hand shaking my hand free from Klaus's blood and looked angrily at Tyler who looked like he finally healed.

"How could you let him go? You had him by his heart why didn't you rip it out of his chest?" Tyler yelled I vampiric sped at Tyler slamming his body against the tree with my hand clutched against his throat. I kept my icy eyes onto Tyler's dark eyes, even though he was a hybrid he couldn't break my newly enhanced strength.

"I saved your life and you expect me to kill Klaus? Did you forget if I killed Klaus it would have a domino effect?" I hissed he grabbed my hand trying to break on my one hand that held him to the tree, I could see the anger boiling his face.

"So what?" Tyler growled I tightened my hand against his neck making it incapable for him to move I lifted him higher until he was dangling off the ground.

"You're right...maybe I should just kill you instead. You left me to die in that motel room from the werewolf bite." I hissed plunging my hand into Tyler's chest cavity hearing him gasping against my hand as I wrapped my hand around his heart. I just stared darkly into his eyes the anger was disappearing slightly from and fear was taking it's place. "But I will not stoop down into killing Klaus knowing it will take the lives of all of our friends. Unlike you I haven't forgotten about Damon, Stefan, Elena, and Caroline. I haven't forgotten that all of them are sired to him and will die with him, I can't and I won't let that happen. So you have an option here Tyler; come back to Mystic Falls win Caroline back and forget about your vengeance or turn your back to those who care about you and accept your death by Klaus's hands because I won't be here to stop him." I kept my hand in his chest waiting for his answer but I knew his answer already.

"He killed my mother...you think I can watch him live? To watch that baby live? If Kol was still alive and killed Jeremy don't tell me you wouldn't have killed him yourself? After everything he had done to you, how he hurt you and you are telling me that you would let that bastard live? You are weak....pathetic." he gasped I tightened my hand around his heart before pulling him towards my face with my fangs wanting to bare but I kept them in.

"If anyone is weak Tyler, it's you. Willing to kill a harmless child to fuel your vengeance that is pathetic. I will not be a part of this." I replied pulling my hand free from his chest before taking my hands snapping his neck and his body dropped to the floor unconscious at my feet. "Goodbye Tyler." I sped away heading back to the motel room to get my bag and to finally leave New Orleans behind me.
