"Skylar?" Liz mumbles, sitting up as I come into our room.
"Sorry, did I wake you up?"
She shakes her head no and pats the bed beside her.
"I couldn't sleep. Skylar why are you seeming sad?" She asks me.
"It's nothing, I'm alright"
"Please tell me the truth. I'm old enough. I'm this many!"
She holds up her fingers showing me her age.
"Okay okay. But tomorrow, okay? We need to get some sleep." I say. She nods and lays back down. "Can you lay with me tonight?" I lie down next to her and we both drift off to sleep.
