For some time, Luna Lovegood was lost in the figments of her imagination. She found comfort in the scenarios she built in her head; Draco Mafoy was in all of them. She imagined she was in his arms, she imagined his blue eyes twinkling in the light. In her dreams, they were together, safe and sound.

However, these were merely dreams. Luna would wake up, and realise that her reality was far from the images that sparked in her mind. Draco was never with her.

Tears moistured her rosy cheeks, as she sat rocking in her chair. Luna, spent hours rocking in that wooden chair, staring out the window. She saw birds flying past, she saw rain trickle down her window, she saw white snow cover the fields like a blanket only to be soon metled by the heat of the burning sun, yet Luna never even noticed the seasons passing by.

But her despondent routine would soon end, the day they came for her. Luna's father, Xenophilius Lovegood, was cooking dinner downstairs when a group of dark hooded creatures broke into his home. They showed no warning of their arrival, but Xenophilius feared this day was going to come. The dark cloaks carried a ghastly aura with them, as they made their way upstairs.

Death Eaters took Luna Lovegood away from her father. This war had begun, and her father was only sorry, his precious daughter had to pay the price for his actions.

His tears, had traumatised the poor man. Had sent him into an uncontrollable state of being; he would sit in her bed and weep as her warmth was no longer present in his house. Oddly enough, he too, found comfort in the figments of his imagination. In his mind, he was with his daughter. In his mind, she was safe.

Luna never thought she was going to cross paths with the invader of her dreams again. Fate, however, decided otherwise. It may not have been in the most comfortable of situations, but Luna Lovegood found herself in the Malfoy Manor. Even though, she was held captured and forced to spend her time in cold hard ground, Luna was going to be able to see Draco again.

One cold night, while a storm was bellowing outside and Luna sat shivering in the corner of the cellar, a set of footsteps began coming down the marble stair. The jingle of keys echoed in the large room, followed by the creek of the gate opening. Luna peered ahead, though she was not scared, as she tried to figure out who was the person now approaching her. Light was dim, and the only glow she had on offer was from the orange flames from the candles across the wall. But even from the little light, she could still recognise the tuft of blond hair that glowed across his forehead.

"Luna..." The voice whispered as Draco came into vision.

Luna's heart fluttered as she heard her name being mentioned. But, Luna's heart always fluttered when she imagined Draco calling her name. Her eyes met Draco's and it sent a cage full of butterflies loose in her stomach, yet her gaze remained blank as though she was still looking out the window in her room.

Draco, on the other hand, felt weak the moment he saw those blue set of eyes graze upon his grey ones. He couldn't believe the capturer of his heart was right in front of him. Draco quickly wrapped the blanket around Luna's shivering body before bringing her against his chest.

"I'm so sorry..." Draco found himself spilling out, as Luna sat there motionless. He wasn't afraid of saying the word anymore. It escaped his lips willingliy, but he soon realised that no matter how many times he said it, it wasn't enough. "Luna?"
