Liam

I walked into the cabin that Annabeth pointed to, I know it's rude but I gaped at what stood before me.

A centaur?

He seemed to be waiting for me.

I guessed that this must be Chiron that Annebeth had mentioned, minus the fact she forgot to mention to me he was a half horse which could of happened to anyone I'm sure...

Chiron smiled at me "Hello Liam, so your the new arrival I've been hearing about, Sandie never stops talking about you"

I felt myself smiling despite my brain still yelling his a centaur!

And I still hadn't learnt to keep my mouth shut when I blurted "But you a centaur! Aren't you Chiron? Aren't you meant to be well...Dead?"

Chiron didn't seem to mind at all as he said "Possibly but I always wanted to carry on teaching, the gods gave me that wish"

Teaching forever? I shuddered

A boy who looked 15 came in "You needed me?"

"Harris this is Liam, kindly escort him to the Hermes cabin"

Harris looked at me excitedly "Has he been claimed?" he asked hopefully.

Chiron shook his head at this and Harris frowned sighing.

"Come with me" Harris grumbled as he walked out of the cabin, I followed after him.

Huh he seems nice sarcasm layering my thoughts.

I hoped that my time here wouldn't be to difficult and I could keep secret my ability's, I didn't know how wrong I was.
