Abandoned // Chapter Eight

•LYNNE'S POV•

I walk up the driveway and knock on the door. A woman opens it.
"Hello, can i help you with something?" She asks.
"Hi, yes. Lucas has forced my daughter to be his girlfriend and has beaten her, and i would like it to stop." I say, trying to be as polite as possible, and trying to hold my livid anger in.
"What? Well come in, i'll call Lucas and we can talk about it." The woman says and motions me to come in. I thank her and walk in.
"LUCAS, COME DOWNSTAIRS THIS INSTANT!" she yells.
Lucas comes down, looking confused. "Yes mum?" He asks.
"Have you forced this lady's daughter to be your girlfriend and beaten her?" She asks.
"What? No!" He says, but it was quite obvious he as lying. That little brat!
"Lucas, go to your room. I will handle you later." Lucas runs upstairs like his life depended on it.
"I'm very sorry, i will punish Lucas and it won't happen anymore." Lucas's mum says, turning to me. "It's okay, i'd better get going now." I say, looking at my watch. I thank her again and then i leave. I am so angry, how can someone do that to my little girl?!

•DANI'S POV•

I wake up with Lisa's arms around me, i don't see Lauren, she is probably already up. I carefully get out of bed, and go downstairs. "Ah, Dani. I was about to send Lauren up to look for you." Dad says. I apologise and get to work, skipping breakfast. I work on Latin first, even though i'm starving. I can't concentrate at all.
"Dani." I look up and see Christina. "Yeah?" I ask.
"Have you eaten? And have you drank enough? You look very pale." She says, feeling my forehead. "Yeah, yeah i'm fine. I was up late so i had to skip breakfast but i'm okay." I say, Christina sighs. "Danielle, you're forehead is burning. And how are the bruises on your stomach?" "They, they hurt." I reply, looking down. "Why didn't you tell anyone?" She then asks. "I didn't want to bother anyone." I say, looking down, twiddling with my fingers. Christina sighs again. "DAD! DANI'S SICK SO I'M JUST GONNA BRING HER BACK TO BED!" Christina yells. "OKAY!" Dad yells back.
"Let's go back to my room, i think Lisa's still asleep but Amy and Katherine are up." Christina says. I put my Latin book back and follow Christina upstairs, and then i lay down on her bed. "I'll just go get something to eat for you okay?" Christina says and walks out. Later Christina walks back in with tomato soup. "Okay Dan, i'm just gonna check your bruises" she says and slowly lifts up my shirt, then gasps. "Dani, i think we'll have to go to the doctor, i'll just phone for an appointment now." She says and grabs her phone, and walks out of the room. I can hear faint voices but honestly all i can focus on is the sickening pain in my stomach, it reminds me of the incident.. "So fortunately, the doctor is completely free for the day, and we can come right now!" She says. I nod and try to stand up but fall down. "Okay, uhm try this." She says and picks me up easily. She tells dad where we're going and then goes out the door and puts me in the passenger seat of her car. She then closes the door and sits in the drivers seat. I close my eyes to try and stop the pain, but it's not working. God, i feel terrible. "We're here!" Christina says and gets out of the car, and then goes to my seat and picks me up again, carrying me inside. "Hello, yes i'm here for Danielle Cimorelli." She says to the lady at the desk, she nods and tells us to go through the door. "Ah, Christina and Danielle." De doctor says when we come in. "Put her on here." He says to Christina, pointing to a table. "Do you want me to stay here?" Christina asks me. I nod and grab her hand, still feeling dizzy. "Okay Danielle, i'm just going to check the bruises on your stomach, so you can just lie down." The doctor says and i lie down slowly, still holding Christina's hand. I feel the doctor lifting my shirt. "Hm, yes. I know." The doctor puts my shirt back down. "How did the bruising happen?" He asks Christina. "She got punched in the stomach, a lot." "Ah yes, the person who punched her, hit some tissue in her stomach and her stomach is very sensitive now. She won't be able to digest her food properly if she eats a lot, or eats heavy food. If she does it will come back up. Unfortunately, Danielle got hit very hard, now even if she doesn't eat heavy food, or eat a lot, it can still come back up. Also, the bruise on her head has also hit a sore spot, causing dizziness. Sometimes she won't even be able to walk." The doctor says. "Okay, thank you." Christina says and quickly pays the doctor, before picking me up. I snuggle into her chest, and fall asleep.

•CHRISTINA'S POV•

Dani falls asleep in my arms, she is so adorable.
I put her in the car seat and do the seatbelt, then i walk round to my side and sit down, and start to drive. When we get home i tell mum what happened, she said it would be handy that Dani just had soup for dinner. When it was dinner time i woke Dani up, luckily she could walk now. We where eating dinner and Dani seemed to be okay luckily. "I found a place where i can work, it's that coffee shop close by the beach, you guys should come there one day!" Alex says. "Congratulations Al!" I say, happily. "Megan won tickets to a One Direction concert, and she invited me to come with her!" Lauren says, very excited. "Cool! When is it?" Lisa asks.
"On Friday, 6 o'clock. And Megan's mum is taking us." Lauren says. We where all happily eating when Dani abruptly stood up. "Excuse me." She said quickly before running upstairs, i ran after her, and i could hear puking sounds coming from the bathroom. I ran in. "are you okay?" I asked, rubbing her back. She looked up at me with teary eyes, "i have no idea."

A/N going on a camp tomorrow and i'm so excited! Because i won't be able to post a chapter on Tuesday here's one today instead. Last Friday Night by Katy Perry is life😍
