Meher looked at the 73 unread messages on her phone with exhaustion, Aadya Singh was one stubborn  bitch.

She opened the messages to read them,

Meher ki bacchi chal na, bas ek baar

Dekh, now bhai is also getting suspicious

Kya hai yaar jab wo nahi tha to itna marti thi  aur ab jab jaag gya hai to dar rhi hai tu

C'mon dude, man tf up, that man is the love of your life

Don't ignore your love of 8 years for a dick who was in your life for a year at most

Asad hasn't come to visit him since the time bhai kicked his ass

Sweetie, cutiepie, meri jaan, c'mon naa

I feel so bad for Faris bhai

He keeps asking about you

And as far as I know the so called 'girl he loved' whoever she is, hasn't come to visit him even once

I'm not asking you to go and confess your undying love for him

You've already told me that you don't love him anymore, and I know that

But you guys, were somewhat friends right

Just for the sake of that friendship, come and meet him

Those were just some of the messages, but the last couple of them caught her attention and hence, Aadya was successful in persuading Meher.

Meher stood in front of the door, Aadya standing next to her; she tried to open it, but her hand wasn't moving.

She has been in this room countless times since Faris was admitted here, but now that he is awake, she was getting cold feet.

Giving a nervous laugh she looked at Aadya, "Bro, I think Faris woke just a few days ago, he may not be ready to see new faces. What if he gets overwhelmed or something like that. I think I should come a few weeks later. "

Saying so she tried to make a run for it, but Aadya grabbed her and opened the door.

Meher stopped in her struggle for freedom and looked inside the room like a deer in headlights.

Then her eyes fell on the man sitting on the bed, who was looking at her somewhat startled.

She was so engrossed in staring at him that she didn't even notice Aksh and would've continued staring if she didn't hear the sound of Aadya clearing her throat.

Giving her an appreciative glance, Meher internally thanked her friend for preventing her from embarrassing herself and quickly took a seat besides Aksh.

Then she looked at Faris with a light smile trying to control her emotions,

"Long time no see"
