"I will not question you about your family. That is your business." He says.

"It's your business if you help me find it." I turn to him.

"Hm. Where is it?" He asks me.

"I... don't know." I look down at the horse.

"You... don't know?" He grips the reins.

I turn. My father imprisoned him in the earth's core. There is a way to enter but he didn't tell me. He never tells me anything. I look up at the sky. He's watching me. I suppose that was the one thing good about my prison. He didn't watch me and scorn my choices.

"We're almost at the border." He says.

"Good. However, the old path is destroyed." I say.

"I'm sorry? How do you know it?" He asks.

"I'm a man of many talents." I say.

"Clearly not giving straight answers." He says.

"The rock shifted and lava burst through. My uncle felt it... so I felt it." I say.

He looks at me confused.

"It's complicated." I say.

"No need to explain it to me, but how do we get through?" He asks.

"Leave that to me." I say.
