"You seem stressed." I say.

Runaan ignores me. My eyes narrow. Hmh.

"You do realize this place is crawling with humans all looking to kill you. I could've destroyed the entire castle but I figured it would be easier to just destroy most of the prison." I say.

He still is ignoring me. Of course.

"Like it or not you're going to have to trust me." I say.

"Trust you?" Runaan turns to me.

"Is that such a bad thing?" I ask.

"I've heard the rumors. They don't describe you kindly." Runaan says.

"Who's to say it's true?" I ask.

He turns.

"You can't just walk out of here with your hands by your side." I say.

He lets out a breath.

"Alright. What do you suggest?" He says.

"Follow me." I smile.

"You brought us to a human place." Runaan says.

"A stable. I assume you know how to ride?" I ask.

"Of course, but it's a human." Runaan snaps.

"Humans are always the same. They're very easy to manipulate." I say.

I draw a rune. It covers me. Runaan's eyes widen. A simple illusion spell. Human's eyes can only see so far. They only can see what comes easiest to them. Makes this so simple. Humans flocked when I taught them Dark Magic. They can easily be corrupted.

"Just wait here." I say.

"Are you sure about this?" Runaan asks.

"Of course. They're only human." I wink.
