The sun blinding my eyes as I attempt to open them, my mum barged into my room "Y/n please get up you're gonna be late to your lecture and I can't take you I've got to take your brother to his baseball game!" She says while opening my blinds. "Yep yep I'm up." I said rubbing my eyes trying to get rid of the blurriness. "Okay well here's some money to get breakfast on the way since your brother and father are all the cereal and toast, I'm going now I love you." She said leaving shutting my door behind her. "I love you too." I yelled so she could hear behind the door. I get up and look at my phone... 10 miss calls from my best friend Evelyn, I call her back
"Hello y/n where are you?" "Home why?" "Our lecture starts in 30 minutes why are you still home?!" "Omg what! I thought it stared in 3 hours!" "No now hurry up before you get marked for being late! 3 late mark leads into- "An hour detention and parent meeting I know!" "Okay okay just hurry up!" "Okay I'll be there as soon as I can" I hang up the phone and run into my bathroom and start getting ready. I look in my wardrobe and find something appropriate to wear for a lecture

I grab my bag and the money my mum left for my on my bed side table and run out the house. I still had 10 minutes before the lecture started and the place is 5 minutes away if I walk really fast so I went to a near by cafe, I opened the door and walked to the counter "Hi can I get a croissant and a hot chocolate please" "Yes that will me 5.75 please" I gave the cashier my money and got some chance back, I waited 2 minutes to get my stuff as the cafe wasn't busy and walked out, as I was walking out I bumped into someone that caused me to drop my hot chocolate all over them "Omg I'm so sorry" I said picking up the empty jot chocolate cup and the croissant bag. "Oh no it's okay I should watch where I'm going" the stranger said. I get up of the floor and look at him... OMG ITS MALACHI BARTON!! "Omg you're Malachi Barton!" "Yes yes I am." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck and smiled "Is there any way I could repay you for the hot chocolate?" He asked "No no it's okay plus I'm late to my lecture so I need to get going." I say putting my croissant in my bag. "Oh well I hope to see you around then." "Yeah me too." I said with a smile He walked off and so did I, I looked at my phone and realised I could still make it. I started speed walking and made it just in time. "Omg y/n your here!" Evelyn said to me, motioning me to her and patted a seat next to her. I sat down and turned to her "Omg you will never believe who I bumped into on my way here!" "Who?!" She said eagerly "MALACHI BARTON!" I said loud enough for only us two to hear "OMG WHAT!" she screamed almost like she wanted to whole world to hear. "Shhhhh" I put my hand over her mouth "Sorry... but what?!" She said "I know right! But I feel kinda bad because I spilt my hot chocolate on him." "Did he get angry?" "No surprisingly, he was so calm and offered to repay me but I was so late I had to decline" "Ughh this could've been a love story!!" She wined "Stop Evelyn, I don't even know him. He did say he hoped to see me around though!" I say "Omg maybe this love story can happen!" "Oh Evelyn" I say as I laugh
Malachi PoV: I was walking on my phone until I bumped into someone spilling their hor chocolate on me "Omg I'm so sorry" the girl said as she started picking up the empty cup. "Oh no it's okay i should watch where I'm going" I say trying to comfort her, she gets up from the floor and looks at me. "Omg you're Malachi Barton!" She says "Yes yes I am" i say rubbing the back of my neck and smiling "Is there anyway I could pay for your hot chocolate?" I asked because I felt bad it was all over me and not in her cup "No no it's okay plus I'm late to my lecture so I need to get going." She says in a rush while putting her bakery bag in her bag "Oh well I hope to see you around then." I say "Yeah me too." She said with a cute smile I start walking off and replayed that moment in my head. Uhhh why didn't I ask her for her number or instagram, or even better her name I thought to myself. I just hope I see her around soon, I really wanna get to know her.
