Teri Meri Love Story (6.10)

Sana was going to make Harry wear the garland but she froze at her place when Sid entered. He was panting as he came there almost running.

"Mat pehna usse woh.... Yeh shaadi.... Mat kar...." He said while taking deep breath.

Sana couldn't move a bit and kept looking at Sid while Harry made a confused face. Others started thinking what was happening there.

"Band karo shehnai. Aur tu... Video bana na band kar. Koi shaadi nahi ho rahi idhar." Said Sid angrily to the person who was playing sehnai and the cameraman.

They stopped doing their job. By then Raj also reached there.

"Sid tu kya kar raha hai yeh sab...."

Sid didn't let Rita Ji finish and said, "Nahi Maa. Aap beech mein nahi bologi. Aur Uncle Aunty aap bhi nahi. Badi muskil se himmat juta ke idhar aaya hoon. So let me finish."

Everyone became quiet. Sid again looked at Sana and said, "Sana tu Harry se shaadi nahi kar sakti kyu ki tu meri hai. Uss hi din se jis din tu paida hui thi."

Everyone widened their eyes hearing that.

"Bachpan mein tune mujhse waada kiya tha ki tu sirf mujhse shaadi karegi. Isliye aaj tu apna waada aise tod nahi sakti. Aaj yeh mandap, tera yeh bridal attire, yeh saara decorations, yeh itne saare guests, sab kuch perfect hai bas tune dulha galat chun liya hai. Lodge ke bahar agar Shehnaaz Weds Sidharth likha hota tab jaa ke yeh hoti ek perfect wedding. Kyu ki Shehnaaz ke saath Sidharth ka naam hi accha lagta, kisi aur ka nahi."

Sana smiled hearing that. Her ears were dying to listen this since years.

"Sidharth chup ho jaa. Log dekh rahe hai." Said Parminder Ji glaring him.

"Haan toh acchi baat hai. Sab ko paata chalna chahiye Sidharth aur Shehnaaz ek dusre ke liye kya hai. Aur Aunty aap uss din galat thi. Sana iss shaadi se khush nahi hai. Kyu ki uski khushi mere saath judi hai. Accha ek baat baataiye, aap ko sach mein lagta hai Sana iss firangi se shaadi kar ke khush rahegi?"

Sid looked at Harry and said, "Sana mehengi dresses and jewelleries dekh ke khush hone walo mein se nahi hai. Bohut papad belne padhte hai isko khush karne ke liye. Jab Sana udaas hogi, yeh Harry dance kar ke usko cheer up karega? Baata saale firangi, karega tu dance?"

"But.... I don't know how to dance." Said Harry.

"Accha yeh chhor. Jab Sana ruth jayegi, tu usko uska favourite chaat khilane le jaayega?"

"No.... I mean.... " Harry couldn't understand what to say. "Chaat kaun khata hai? These street foods are not good for health. I'll take her to five start restaurant."

Sid gave a sarcastic smile and said, "Dekh le Sana. Iss se shaadi karegi toh zindagi bhar pachtaayegi. Abhi bhi time hai cancel kar de yeh shaadi."

"What do you mean by cancel kar de?" Asked Harry. "I'm not marrying her without her consent. She also wants to marry me. Tell me Sana, am I wrong?"

Sana didn't say anything and looked down. Sid was right. Once she thought that she would be able to live without Sid though it would hurt her at first. But now she realised that it was impossible.

"Yeh kya bolegi? Yeh khud kuch decide nahi kar paa rahi." Said Sid. "Bachpan se le kar aaj tak har chiz eksaath kiyi hai humne. Movie dekhne liye college bunk mere saath, bike pe baith ke pure seher ke chakkar katna mere saath, baith ke daru peena mere saath....."

"Daru?"

"Daru?"

"Yeh daru peeti hai?"

The guests started gossipping. While their parents were dying in embarassment.
