Ashley’s POV

After an hour so everyone had finished their dinner and we were all sitting around talking. The boys were really interested in what me and Rachael did at home and what America was like for regular people like us. It was actually adorable how much they wanted to know.

Rachael was talking about how she was going to go into Anthropology when we went back to school. I took the opportunity to look around the bowling alley again. I kept sneaking glances out of the food court at all the people. Mainly looking to see if Nathan was still here. I could just barely see their table but I could see Siva and Tom so I knew they were still here. I really did want to have a drink with him but I think it would piss Rachael and the guys off. Maybe they don’t need to know just yet…I glared at the thought that crossed my mind.

“Hey you ok?” I felt Niall poke my side and I jumped.

“Yeah I’m fine. I’m gonna go to the bathroom really quick.” I gave him a small smile before I got up and walked out to the bowling alley. My gaze quickly went to where Nathan was sitting and his eyes soon met mine. I nodded towards the bathrooms and he got up, following discreetly with a smirk on his face. I quickly moved into the dark hallway and waited for him to join me.

“You are going to get yourself in trouble love.” I could still see the smirk on his face.

“Yeah well I want that drink.”

“Well I tried but your friend insisted against it.” he raised an eyebrow at me and I couldn’t help but giggle. Rachael might just kill me if she found out what I was doing right now and that I didn’t tell her. I would…eventually.

“She doesn’t have to find out about it just yet.”

“So how do you suppose we go about me getting you a drink without her finding out?”

“Here’s my number. Maybe you should text me later and I can meet you somewhere after she falls asleep.”

Nathan’s POV

I watched the sly grin form on her face and I couldn’t help but smile in return. She really did want to get a drink with me even though her friend was completely against it. Oh well she’ll figure it out. Girls always do.

“Ok then maybe I will.” I said as I took the napkin with her number on it.

“Ooooh back again are you?” I heard Max as he came down the hall. Ashley looked up at

him and nodded sweetly.

“You weren’t exactly very nice Mr. George.”

“Well neither was your friend.” he gave her a look as if he won.

“She hates drinking. That’s why she was getting so mad that you kept insisting. She doesn’t like the fact that I drink occasionally and will try and keep me from doing it.” I watched as Ashley shrugged it off as no big deal.

“Yeah I can see that.”

“Yeah and you just made it more difficult for me and Nathan here to get a simple drink. She’s gonna hate you guys.”

“Give her time, she’ll warm up to us.”

“Eh I hope so. I gotta go. See ya later Nathan.” Ashley touched my arm gently as she pushed passed me and Max and walked out of the dark hall.

“Well what was that all about Nath.”

“She want’s to get a drink but as you heard you pissed her friend off and made it a tad more difficult for us to do so.”

“So what are you going to do about it?” he asked as we walked back to the table.

“She gave me her number so maybe later tonight we’ll go grab a drink somewhere else.”
