Chapter 20

Chris

I had to put some space between me and Olivia so I made up a half truth lie so I could control my hormones for her. It wasn't right for me to keep pushing up on her like that when she's not ready, I don't know what was coming over me but it's like she put a spell on me. I can't keep my hands or my mouth off her body and the fact that she's so pure makes me want to dig deep inside of her and touch her soul. She changed me in the past few days that I've been doing things I never do for a woman in my life, I could've just given her all of me. But it's too soon when she's going through so much shit right now. I wish I could erase that piece of shit out of her life, out of her memories then she wouldn't have to worry about anything else. I spent 14 days with her and I need to get back to my 3 responsibilities, my beautiful children I've missed them. So tomorrow I'm going to take all three of them somewhere. Not going to lie though I did say I won't let Olivia leave my sight and I'll protect her but the next time I won't be able to control myself. She turns me on without even doing anything and I need my fix because she's becoming my drug. I just don't want her to regret giving her innocence to me, if I continue to push hard. I hope she'll be safe about time I come back to her and I hope that I'm not making a mistake. 

I'm glad that she came around my family because they're what means the most to me and I love how they accepted her with open arms. I do feel like there is some tension between her and my Uncle Jay for some reason because they had a weird vibe going on every time they were close to each other. It's probably going to take some time for me to have her around my children though. Besides that we can't even be in public just yet even though I respect that, I respect that because I hate people being in my private life instead of worrying about the good I do. It did feel good that she told me she loved me before I left her, my heart felt like it was beating outside of my chest. It was like the most beautiful sound to my ears to hear those words come from her mouth, I felt that in my soul the way she looked at me. 

How could he stop her from living life at the age of 19? How could he control every last thing she does? How could he force her to be someone she's not?  She probably missed out on 12 years of knowing what it's like to feel and be happy. I have to find a way to take some things off her plate so she can stop stressing and constantly looking over her shoulders.

When I got home it felt like I didn't even belong here, I was starting to miss being at Olivia's that I called her as soon as I walked in my door. She didn't pick up, I guess she went to sleep waiting for me. I got a call from my Uncle Jay when I locked the door behind me.

"What's up Unc?"-Chris

"You sure you want to be a part of Olivia's life when she's married to a billionaire, how well do you know her?"-Uncle Jay

"Who told you about that?"-Chris

"You forgot I'm a detective? You're playing a dangerous game messing with her."-Uncle Jay

"You do realize I'm a grown ass man and I can make my own decisions on who I want to be with right? I recall you not even my real uncle to tell me anything about my woman, I mean if you want to continue to stay a part of my family and marry my aunt you would mind your own business and stay out of mine."-Chris

"I respect that and you're right but be careful nephew"-Uncle Jay

"Yeah you be careful too on the way you talk to me because next time I might not be so nice"-Chris

"You got it don't say I didn't warn you"-Uncle Jay

"Same here James"-I said hanging up

Now I know why there was a bad vibe between Olivia and him because he probably was pressing her for some information about that dummy. He was probably the reason why she was thinking about putting some distance between us earlier, yeah we need a break but it's only for me to control my need for her not because she has a situation that needs to be handled. Speaking of that situation I need to get a hold onto that so she doesn't have to worry about it so much.

"Aye Dantae"-I said calling my D.A. homeboy

"What's up?"-Dantae

"I need your help with something"-Chris

"What's that? Only if you let me borrow that new Viper"-Dantae

"I got you but it's this woman I know who's going through a situation with this puss...dummy he hired somebody to kidnap her and she's been traumatized ever since it happened. I don't know what more to say but I want to keep her safe and make sure he won't be a problem anymore. Can you help me out?"-Chris

"I mean do you got names, what I can do is build a case and call some people to get it in court right away if she's willing to testify."-Dantae

"Olivia Washington and Cain Washington"-Chris

"Wait, wait how do you know Liv or Cain?"-Dantae

"Long story but I just want to take some stress off her. Him and his mistress out on vacation or something."-Chris

"Liv like a sister to me, she just asked me to do something for her a month ago because Cain had some broad working at his company taking extra money out and putting it into offshore accounts, she told me to keep it under wraps so his company wouldn't go down hill. He has the top entertainment company in Los Angeles. Her brother Ty did send over a recording that I haven't got to yet but he never told me that she got kidnapped by somebody he hired. I will work over time to make sure that a case get open for this lowlife mother fucker. Wait you said mistress he's cheating on Liv?"-Dantae

"I'm glad we are on the same page, oh for real? He is the reason why she has been looking over her shoulders every time she goes outside. Yeah with her hoe ass bestfriend somebody named Kyra"-Chris

"I'll do anything for Liv after she helped me get out of depression last year, you can't be serious Kyra that bitch ugly as fuck, she supposed to be getting plastic surgery to change her appearance so I heard."-Dantae

"I gotta idea though, let me know how everything goes with the case you are going to build. I wasn't even paying close attention to how she looks but I'm sure it's not compared to Li."-Chris

"You love her don't you?"-Dantae

"I do and I don't want her to keep thinking somebody's out to get her whenever she steps outside. She really means a lot to me and I never felt how I feel about her for any other woman in my life."-Chris

"She's a real one too, you better treat her right."-Dantae

"Okay dad"-I said laughing

"Haha wait until you meet her actual dad. But for real thanks for the info I'll get right on it after we hang up"-Dantae

"Good looking out, bet keep me updated"-I said hanging up

I called my friend that works for the top media company in Los Angeles.

"Hey Chris, what's up?"-Nija

"Do me a favor?"-Chris

"Okay what is it?"-Nija

"Have you ever heard of Cain Washington?"-Chris

"Yes? Why?"-Nija

"I gotta something I think you would like to hear"-Chris

"I'm listening"-Nija

I gave her the run down about what Dantae told me and sent over the file Dantae sent me through email to her phone. She hung up right after and I smiled to myself, this could take that bitch down a notch until a case is built against him and I'm sure Dantae will have that done by tomorrow. I know Olivia will be mad at what I did but it's only to distract him from paying attention to Olivia for right now and side track him for a while. Now I gotta let everything play out and hope that nothing goes wrong. I took a shower and thought about Olivia, she probably needs me after this story goes viral. I fell asleep thinking about her.
