10 preparation

Y/n POV: 

Today was important i could tell from how Neji started training really early.

"Neji? it's 8 am how come your already training?" I asked my cusin.

"I'm suprised you didn't know, The chunin exams are coming up." Neji informed me.

"Woah really!" i asked getting excited.

"Careful, you probably won't compete." Neji said while using gentle fist on  a dummy.

"how can you be so sure? my team is doing awesome!" i told him. Neji rolled his eyes. I walked away with a sigh to go help Hinata train. on my way i ran into Father.

"Y/n, The chunin exams are coming i want to you to train yourself not Hinata." Father told me. i wanted to yell at him so badly but i ressisted.

"sure Father." is all i said before leaving.

I found myself looking up at the hokage mountains. 

"one day Naruto's gonna be up there" I said quitly. "but what do i want with my life?" i pondered i contineud walking to the training grounds where I saw Sasuke.

"Hi sasuke!" i called. he was ruthlessly beating up a tree, he seemed very mad.

"sasuke?" i asked he didn't hear me he was that focused. so threw a kunei to get his attention, it narrowly missed his head hitting the tree. he looked over and saw me.

"y/n? do you need somthing?" Sasuke asked most of his anger seemed to go away.

"i need a sparring partner." Told him. he smirked.

"you think you can take me Y/n?" Sasuke asked his cockiness showing.

"we're about to find out." i told him taking my stance. 

he took his stance. i activated my Byakugan and rushed towerds him. i hit  about 20 chacra points. before he jumped back and made some hand sighns.

"Fire style: fireball jutsu!" Sasuke yelled. i dodged it

 then we noticed Naruto's student i guess, getting bullied. Naruto was standing up to them but that didn't stop my glare at the people who i noticed were from the sand. Sasuke threw a peble at one gaining there attention

"hey it's not nice to bully little kids." sasuke said. buncing anothere pebble in his hand. the sand village shinobi soon left but Sakura didn't get why they were even in the leaf.

"There here for the chunin exams i bet." I said.

"Woah those are coming up!!" Naruto exclaimed.

"yeah Neji was talking about them." i explained.

later that day we met with kakashi sensei who as always was late.

"sorry guys i got lost on the path of life." Kakashi-sensei told us. "but i have news. the chunin exams are coming" Kakashi then explained how we need to chose if we're compiting.

"Like i'm missing out on this! Dattebayo!" Naruto exclaimed.

"neither am i where Naruto goes i go too!" I said.

"i'll go too!" Sakura chimed in.

"so we're in agreement." Sasuke said with a smirk.

"alright! watch out team 7 is about to become Chunin!!" Naruto yelled
