{The Third Memory}

*THUD!*

"Son of fucking whore," Amelia exclaims angrily as she lands, once again, on her ass on the hard concrete," Can we have one memory where I don't fall on my ass when we land?!"

Amity laughs at her sister's complaints and helps her up from the ground," Well, you have always been the clumsier out of the four of us. Though Edric with his experiments is a close second."

Their brother was famous around town for always getting injured from everything from magic experiments to walking down the hall. Even with his glasses on and getting them checked every year. The boy still somehow gets hurt and it's either up to their mother to heal him or Emria when she isn't busy making goo-goo eyes a certain fish-hook earring-wearing witch.

The older witch just rolled her eyes at her little sister and after getting up off the weird grey-colored ground, Amelia finally took a moment to see where the memory door had sent them to now.

Instead of the Drakes' childhood home, the two girls were not standing in what looked like a club, but the ones they'd been to back in Bonesborough.

Clubs back in town were places to hold massive social events, sometimes grab a quick thing to eat, or after a rough day at work get a small drink before returning home to your family. They were like restaurants but with more selections of ales, beers, and variations of fruit blood drinks and those were for the adult-aged ones as the teen ones were much more on the kiddy side if you weren't part of the elite families. Both of them have gone to those high-end teen clubs but it was nothing but children trying to act like their parents and show the world that their 'grown enough' instead of the regular clubs where they would spend the most time with their friends playing games and enjoying some fizzy boo-berry juice and snacks.

This place though.

This uncomfortably reminded Amelia of Lord Havenstar's office after the last time he and her father met all those years ago...

Instead of the multitude of tables, cars, and basic club furniture. All around the room were scuffed-up leather couches and chairs, small tables scattered around here and there with bottles and cans of all shapes and sizes littering on top of them as well and shards of glass decorated the floors from when someone threw one at the rock wall but what them both freeze was the massive puddle of dark reddish almost black ooze like substance with the outline of someone extremely young and small kneeling before the newer and much more stylish one seater couch that just screamed boss.

"Am..."

"I know," Amelia said with a calm voice, making sure to use all the etiquette training her mother put them through to keep her from exploding then and there, as she made her way towards the turned-over couches and tables," But right now we have to fix the memory. Rest assured though if I ever see any of these humans again. We will show them what happens to those who dare harm a Blight's mate."
