-Ayesha Yasmin Dixon-
-1 day later-

..suddenly I felt a piercing pain in my shoulder.

I had been shot.

Blood dripped down my arm as Oakley tried to keep us steady on the road, yet also trying to keep himself safe from the bullets.

"Ayesha keep your head down!"

I cried in pain hoping this would just end.

Seconds later he was shot in the chest, his lifeless body left loose resting on the steering wheel.

"Oakley! No!"

I screamed in agony.

His foot was still on the pedal and the car remained going at a fast speed.

"No! No! No! Oakley wake up!" I cried.

The sight of his still body gave me the shivers.

The car was heading full speed towards a heavy loaded truck.

I was headed for my doom.

I tried to move the steering wheel to direct us in a different direction but it just wouldn't budge.

We crashed.

"No!" I said as I woke up.

I looked around.

I was in a hospital, a nurse looked at me with confusion.

"Are you alright miss?"

I was sweating and my breath was heavy.

"Is there anyone I can call to come visit you?" She said as she checked my vitals.

"My- my boyfriend- the man who was in the car with me- is he okay?" I replied, my body still filled with panic after that nightmare.

"If you give me a name miss, I can check for you."

"Oakley. Caesar-Su."

She wrote it down.

"I will try to get in contact with him, meanwhile i'll send another nurse to make sure everything is okay with you."

"Thankyou."

She walked out the room leaving me in the cold space.

I tried to lift myself up so I could sit but the pain in my shoulder remained.

I just wanted to know if Oakley was okay.

The second nurse entered the room and she greeted me nicely.

"When can I leave?"

"I cant really say right now but judging by your physical state, possibly tomorrow morning."

"okay."

"I'll go and get you something to eat."

She walked towards the door when Oakley opened it. The relief I felt to just see his face was real.

"Baby."

"Oakley."

The nurse gave us both a small smile and proceeded to leave the room.

He grabbed a chair and put it as close as possible to the hospital bed I layed in.

He took my hand into his.

"How are you feeling?"

"I cant move my left arm."

"You wanna sit up?"
