Chapter Thirty-One

Lyric sighed as she looked at the denied email, it's been two weeks since she's quit the hospital and it seems every where she applied was denied even. Ho-Seok did an interview but it didn't change much of anything, yeah she wasn't getting dragged as much but people still hated her. She closed her laptop and refilled her glass of wine as she watched the rain hit her windows, she sighed before she heard a knock on her door.

"Just a second." She said getting out of her chair.

She placed her cup down before walking to the door, she opened it and seen a drenched Lily.

"Hi." She smiled.

"Lily what are you doing here?" Lyric asked concerned.

"Can I come in?" She asked.

"Does Ho-Seok know you're here?" Lyric asked.

Lily shook her head before Lyric stepped aside allowing her in.

"Let me get you a towel." She said before going to her bathroom.

She grabbed Lily a towel before returning to the living room.

"Here you go." Lyric said passing her the towel before sitting down.

She watched as Lily dried herself off before placing the towel on the sofa and sitting down.

"Thank you." She mumbled.

"Lily what are you doing here? Is Ho-Seok ok?" She asked.

"Yeah he's ok, I just wanted to tell you I'm sorry again." Lily said.

"You've already apologize Lily." She sighed.

"I know, but if it wasn't for Ha-Joon I would've never came clean to Ho-Seok. I was being selfish, I was trying to cover my own ass and continue to take the heat but...not anymore. I am going to post a video on my social media soon revealing everything." She said.

"Lily, you know what that damage could do to you? You're just now getting your career started." Lyric said.

Lily shook her head.

"I need to own up to my own shit for once, you didn't deserve to get fired and you don't deserve the hate you're receiving, you and Ho-Seok also didn't deserve to be broken up." Lily said.

"First of all I quit and second of all Ho-Seok and I will eventually make our way back to one another." She mumbled.

"Yeah but I fucked it up and I am going to fix it." Lily said.

Lyric looked at her and nodded.

"So how did Ho-Seok take the news when he found out the truth?" She asked.

Lily sighed.

"He took it bad, cut me off financially." She scuffed.

Lyric chuckled.

"Well you did do a bad thing." She said.
