Kingslanding, 298 AC

"Mother! Mother!"
A cheerful voice echoed throughout the Red keep,

Myrcella Baratheon rushed into her mothers Chambers, without thinking she sat down on the nearest sofa.

Cersei, Joffrey, Tyrion, Tommen, Tywin and Jamie were all in the room, it was clear she has interrupted something, not that she noticed nor cared,
The young princess was too enwrapped with the book in her hands, Fire and Blood.

No one in her family had the heart to tell her they were busy so they just listened,

"Yes, dearest?" Cersei asked,

"Are we related to any Targaryens?!" She asked hoping for a certain answer

"Why would you want to be related to a targaryen?" Joffrey asked looking in  judgment

"I believe my niece has been reading the Targaryen's family history" Tyrion mused

"Are you sure you wouldn't like to read something else, Targaryen history is grim" Cersei got up and pulled a strand of stray hair behind her daughter's ear with a gentleness that she only uses with her children

"Are we mother? Related to any Targaryens?" Myrcella asked again, young and impatient for the answer she wanted

"We are. As is a lot of the realm, the Martells, the Baratheons and even the exiled Targaryen over the Narrow Sea. Why do ask?" A demanding voice came from the head of the room where Tywin Lannister stood

"I've been reading 'The Dance Of The Dragons' it's truly interesting"

Tommen sat next to his sister on the sofa "what's it about?"

"It's the story of the war that brought the beginning of the end of house Targaryen. The Targaryen Civil war between sisters, Maenya and Rhaenyra Targaryen for the claim on the iron throne."

"Women?!" Joffrey yelled out

Everyone ignored him.

"Why were they fighting over it?" Tommen asked

"Because their father, King Viserys named his second born the heir out of love even though his first born was the rightful heir"

"Why did he name his second born heir? Did the first born not want it?" Jamie asked as Tywin sent him a quick glare, Jamie did not want Casterly Rock.

"Some say he was afraid of his daughter, some say she never let him live down the death of his wife, though we can never know for certain" Myrcella explained

"So how was this was different from the rest of the mad dragon riders, then?" Joffrey asked lazily, getting bored of the conversation at hand

"Well brother..."
